    Mr. Kincaid, I like the tool set of the Swiss Tech 15-1. No generic tools and no delicate, flathead micro drivers that you have damaged in the past. I never get sick of hearing about the Leatherman Arc or Leatherman products, period. Please keep talking. Could I ask you for a FAVOR? Could you do a video on the SOG Powerpint or a community post about the CAN OPENER? I can't get it to function, the way it should. It practically works but not enough to open the lid of the can. I can't find anything specifically on any video expect SOG knives. They show it cutting backwards. Sometimes it cuts backwards and forwards but for the most part its, inefficient. I opened a can of Popeye's spinach with it the other day. The density of the metal was softer opposed to a can of Corned Beef Hash. I used it rocking backwards and it crimps and cuts the softer material okay. The denser the material it just bends the crimps the metal. This is the second can opener I've ever had a problem with. The Leatherman Juice can opener is a different design with comparable results. I really like this SOG Powerpint but the can opener thus far is disappointing. The scissors are okay, they cut paper. They cut jagged and feather the paper but good enough to snip small diameter twine. This is really the second multitool I really like with the Paratool, outside of Leatherman. In all honesty. Any advice or feedback is greatly appreciated. Merry Christmas "KIND KINCAID".

    Curious about that Phillips adaptor - where's that from, and would it work on a Super Tool? Leatherman's $35 adaptor kit feels like a lot, especially given that I'd be using 1/4 inch anyway.

    • @hvacbudget8600
      @hvacbudget8600  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I believe it does work on the Supertool 300 rebar etc. Many cheap overseas multi tools come with these sets. SOG and Gerber and Leatherman sell them separately for about the $30 mark. Leatherman may have a cheaper just adapter you can buy separately. This came from a cheap multi tool with adapter set.

    I was wondering if you've come across the NexTool 19in1...they call it the Flagship Captain. The one thing that jumps out about it is that it takes Leatherman flat bits. What's your thoughts on that?

    • @hvacbudget8600
      @hvacbudget8600  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I did review it a couple months ago, but the inside tools don't lock. Some of the bits interchange with Leathermans but not all. I was a bit underwhelmed due to the non locking inner tools. And I also prefer 1/4" drivers. It's ok otherwise

      Sorry to hear that! The Leatherman Free series are designed to be easily accessible so the P2,P4 and the Arc are good options. The Gerber CenterDrive and MP600 are great with that out the front pliers. Cheaper options might be Roxon which is really working on accessible tools with levers that make tools easier to use. Oddball tools like the Sog switchplier make pliers deploy at the push of a button. A lot of options.

    It looks like Workpro rebranded their 16-im-1 multitool under their SwissTech brand. Is the knife blade better? I picked up the Workpro one back on 2022 for a trip as a cheap tool, in case the TSA wanted to take it. The Workpro version knife blade is horrible and no matter how much sharpening you do, it does not hold an edge.
