SAAY (co-writer/producer) said Baekhyun is the one approaching Deez (song producer) in the first place, saying he want to do an authentic/traditional R&B style song with acoustic base and on top of that a song where performance could be added. SAAY (co-writer/producer) said that the recording of baekhyun’s high note ad lib part in “my neverland” was done in one take (that track is really like no other) it is enough to gain a standing ovation from everyone in DEEZ’s recording room.

This album is meant to be a gift for fans because he was about to enlisting in the military and he wanted to give us something to keep us company while he is away for 18 months serving his country. However, the song is more about the fact that Bambi refers to "night rain" as you will see he talks about in the lyrics if you turn on the CC English captions -- it's a play on words in Korean -- Bam as in night and bi as in rain. And in English, Bambi refers to a woman with long legs -- and that is where the name for the Disney character comes from -- which is also the nickname of the character/woman Baekhyun is talking about in the song. :D However, the song has very little, if anything, to do with the Disney movie -- the cute little deer with the same name, isn't really even connected to the song. (In western pop culture the name Bambi is given to female characters in novels and movies because it is used as a metaphor for her sexual appeal and appearance. The woman in EXO's songs is often thought to be a metaphor and physical representation of the Tree of Life. That is why the members are always trying to save the girl or protect her, or they talk about being controlled by the power of the woman or they are worried about their passion destroying her, etc. It's EXO's job to protect the Tree of Life from the Red Force. EXO was sent to Earth on a mission to finding the two halves of the tree and reuniting them in order to restore peace in the world. The two halves of the tree -- EXO-K (Korean) represents one half and EXO-M (Mandarin Chinese) represents the other half -- were originally separated in order to keep the Red Force from gaining control. However, now, in order to fix all the things that are going wrong in the world, EXO needs to defeat the Red Force and find where the two halves of the tree have been hidden. So on that note, I think that the train theme is somehow connected to SuperM's/EXO's storyline, however, I am not sure how yet. All I know is that, we see SuperM in a subway train in their "100" MV, we see aespa also in a subway train in their debut "Black Mamba" MV and we see SHINee in an old train station in their "Don't Call Me" MV. We even see Kai on train tracks in his "Film: Kai" solo debut teaser video during his "Amnesia" section of the video and people on a subway train platform as it transitions to his song "Mmmh." And before that we saw Key from SHINee in a subway train in his solo debut song "One of Those Nights." And if we go back even further, you see EXO on train tracks in their "Love Me Right" MV and EXO-CBX (which Baekhyun is also a member of) on train tracks in their "Horololo" MV, etc. And because Baekhyun is the leader of SuperM and a member of EXO that usually means it's connected to SM's Universe. Fun fact: Baekhyun isn't even part of the dance line in EXO, and when he first debuted he was considered one of the weaker dancers. However, as you can see, he has now become one of the members who is known for his dancing, as well as his vocals. And the EXO members say, he is now the quickest out of all of them to memorize the choreography.
