I just purchased a Neo and have watched many videos to help me overcome my nervousness as I am new to this. By far, this video has been the best guide I've found. You've made it easy for a novice like me to grasp the Neo and to get over my fears. I especially found the "how to record audio" section handy. I was looking to figure that out and BAM! Sure, it's nice to be young...and largely inexperienced. It's also nice to have been born in the 50s, before beach sand was made to think, and be totally amazed! How cool that when you crashed, @ 1:47:18 , the drone didn't chastise you! These drones are like well trained dogs, that eat electricity - not kibble - and are forever lovingly gazing at you.
Great info … my only regret with getting the Neo is I would not have bought the controller. I just take the drone and the 3 pack battery & charger. My iPhone max won’t fit into the controller with the OtterBox case on so I can’t use it. But I only fly with the preset buttons anyway…. Love the drone and love the quality of the video … it is the perfect size and I even use it indoors.

The NEO is an awesome piece of gear. At its price point limit your expectations. Would like DJI to add "Camera" with timed shots, say 5 Sec & 10 Sec intervals to ALL 6 of the NEO preset shooting modes. At present think only the "Spotlight mode" mode offers timed photos. Recognize that drone capture has been prioritized towards Videographers. Only offering the "Video" Camera Mode is a bit limiting. Primarily a Still photographer. With my Mavic 3 have captured some amazing stills. NEO Camera will have to wait for the NEO Pro so don’t big deal it. Simple an limited Camera/Still settings should be an easy add.
15:48 instead of turning around, you can do a 180 turn around the drone and then walk forward. Now, you are walking back with the drone in front of you
Very informative, I love my neo,but I couldn't make up my mind on what one to get. I decided to get the neo and avata 2. They are both amazing. I wish the neo was that easy to fly with the phone, but it's not. Maybe I'm just not good at flying with the phone 😕

Is this the only drone where the DJI Fly app can automatically eliminate propeller noise and merge your audio track with your footage to ensure clear sound when shooting low-altitude vlogs?
Just got my drone yesterday and waiting for RC 3 to get here. I wish you would have shown a little about that remote (maybe you didn’t have it?) Very good video and i‘m definetely gonna buy the neo this week, BUT i have a question: 18:12 is it possible, to stop the 360 Circle after the half? Sometimes you don’t have enough space for a full 360, but i need a 180 for example. Can that be done by this drone?
Thank you for sharing this. I’m new to drones and bought this NEO, and you make me feel better about using it Question; I’m a comedian and thought to use in my live shows. How would you suggest I use it in comedy venues?
I hope the next version, if it keeps the no controller modes, makes all or at least three of them custom so we will be able to choose the ones we like as I have no use for rocket or circle, but would like to have boomerang and helix all the time. I do like that you can set most modes height and or distance. I am hoping the pro or number 2 is just a bit beefier, has a better camera slightly longer flight time. I don't like that DJI always introduces less than what the plan to make a model. Those of us on a budget get stuck with the lessor model due to our impatience. Note: I used my phone for a talking video and it didn't just remove the drone sound but the sound of the mower I was on so I was able to talk with the drone noise and the mower noise and hear myself clearly.

I wanna ask you a question since you did this video I got my DJI NEO the other day And I download the app from the App Store. I have an iPhone 15+ it took me 16 hours to figure out how to download the pictures. I only want and figure it out the one in the chat and everything else called them no answer no chat. I figured out if you turn it in airplane mode, you download the Pictures fast then I was told that if she turned off the data on the phone, you can download it also, can you hit on this and figure out what’s going on with this situation? I love this drone but I don’t think something is right and I have the latest software for the iPhone 15+ software 18.1.
Can I use this drone to follow me from the front ( drone flying backwards )? I’m interested to use this with the goggles and the motion controller to fly in front of a car while the drone is flying backwards.

i read on DJI reddit page that controling your drones with the remote doesn't mean you're doing manual control even you're doing it manually because manual control means doing complicated stuff like on fpv. is that true?

When you change the settings in the flyapp, for example change the distance settings, will it save my settings even when I turn off the drone?

Definitely needs a better camera? If I can’t shoot in log then it’s not worth it 😢

How high can it go
You can only charge all 3 batteries with DJI adaptor, ordenary adaptors will only charge one or two batteries
nope, depends on the voltage of the plug. it needs to be a 45V plug and wire to charge all 3
