Some fixes for common problems: 1. Mi Unlock Tool sign in error: Use the QR code sign in method from the top right corner of the Mi Unlock Tool. 2. Mi Unlock Tool not detecting your phone: You need to install proper drivers. 3. 'Request Parameter Error' while trying to unlock your phone: Simply disconnect and reconnect your usb cable or try a different usb port. 4. Cant reboot to recovery: After flashing your new recovery img DO NOT reboot to recovery from CMD. It will simply reboot to system and when that happens the phone will automatically OVERWRITE your flashed recovery back to Mi's default recovery. Instead after you flash your recovery, power off the phone and then quickly press Volume Up + Power button to manually boot to recovery.
one can also take the help of unoffical xiaomi unlock tool if they are facing a problem in not being able to connect to their mi account in order to unlock the bootloader

@@zaidshaikh8 yes i am using custom rom which i installed watching this video. my device is poco m2 pro it was very laggy and filled with ads . now its so much smoother and works fine . all banking apps are working no issues . camera in this rom is not good as miui cam its smooth but pictures used to be much better in miuicam . any way i dont use camera much so its ok for me

Finally after too much problem of always booting into redmi recovery mode ,with a simple trick it booted to pixelOS and then installed pixelOS ROM, thanks again

And bye the way I did not get any battery drain problem instead it is improved
Did not find any major bug till now. Initially the battery lasted less and device used to heat but it optimized in some time and is working fine. Will soon put a detailed review on the same.
I would not advise to purchase this is 2023. You can choose any other redmi phone and later setup the mod as it would have support for more latest version of Android through MOD

Hey I am using this OS for past couple of months and its great. Recently a software update has came but the download speed is very slow can you provide a solution? Also there’s an option for local update so if I download the update from the maintainer’s website and if I try to update it locally will the data will be retained? For your first question, there is no perfect solution but I had same issue and I flashed the rom again. For your second question, local update will keep your data intact unless you execute wipe data option. Feel free to subscribe and ping for more questions.

As posted by Kiran Patil from TH-cam community, this seemed to worked for many: 1 Flash recovery through plat-form tool through CMD and 2. I used CMD two times quick back to back "fastboot boot recovery" and quickly power+ volume up button That's it Try this and let me know if it works for you.
If the above does not work, try: What you can do is let the device restart completely, wait for few mins letting it completely reboot and then try flashing the recovery again. Give this a try and if you have already done this let me know, I will look for other options

Overall Pixel Experience and PixelOS roms are best for daily driver having the features you asked for except stock MI camera which is supported for only few models

Both roms are equally good and perform equally well, but if you want more customisations then Pixel Experience+ is the best choice. For the second part of the question, no, it will not work with Mac. Feel free to subscribe and share if you liked

Its a bug actually. Have a try first doing a complete normal reboot and then try flashing the Recovery again. Try for 2-3 times till you succeed. Ping me back if this does not work

In that case after flashing the recovery do not run cmd command to reboot to recovery else power off and enter recovery mode manually (vol up + power button)

ROM is pretty stable. There is no major issue as such in the latest update. Only you will miss stock MI camera, or you can install GCam. You can install Pixel Experience which is also great as well

This video was too fast had to watch in 0.50 slow speed. It was exhausting. Finally installed it. But wifi wasn't connecting. My phone is like new now. Had to watch other videos to unlock miui

Instead of using cmd prompt to go to recovery, manually go to recovery by pressing Volume Up+Power Button. Please try and let me know

You need to change the wire. Use an original in the box MI cable.

Possible chances are your downloaded Rom file is corrupt. Re- Download a fresh one and try again

The issue is with the cable you are using. It might not support data sync. Please use the box cable or try another cable which has come along the box.

Why not flash the Pixel Recovery through adb since you have already unlocked Bootloader

Both roms are equally good and perform equally well, but if you want more customisations then Pixel Experience+ is the best choice. For the second part of the question, no, it will not work with Mac.

adb reboot recovery reboots the phone into xiaomi recovery

exactly i was getting the same issue
Its a bug actually. Have a try first doing a complete normal reboot and then try flashing the Recovery again. Try for 2-3 times till you succeed. Ping me back if this does not work
@@betech2022 i tried both way 8 times total same issue so I installed the pixel experience recovery and then flash the pixelOS the rest process was same and smoothly worked out for me🙂

There is no PixelOS for Redmi Note 7 as of now. You can download PixelExperience Rom and follow the same process

ROM is pretty stable. There is no major issue as such in the latest update. Only you will miss stock MI camera, or you can install GCam. You can install Pixel Experience which is also great as well

You need to download Boot.img. Vendor Boot is only required in special cases

Not advised to use the Pro’s build. You can use Pixel Experience build for exact same model and use the same process
