    Hi Yuting! When do we use 了 for past tense and when do we use 的 for past tense in Chinese?
    In this video you gave these examples:
    你在那里学的中文?
    你在那里学了中文?*
    (Where did you learn Chinese?)
    我从TH-cam视频上学的。
    我从TH-cam视频上学了。*
    (I learned it from TH-cam Channel.)
    Which is better? What is the difference?
    谢谢,老师!

    I agree you speak fast. But that is good we need to hear fast. But if you could say the sentence slow AND fast that would be great. But your teaching is good. The little pictures dung dung.
    I like that you have pinyin and chacter and english. That way it is complete. xie xie ni!

    请问,饭店和宾馆 是一样吗?

    • @liesuswi
      @liesuswi 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      BassMusicJon 饭店=restaurant and 宾馆=hotel; so normally we have some thing to eat in a 饭店 but stay in the room of a 宾馆. But sometimes there are both restaurants and hotel in both big 饭店 and 宾馆

    Note: If you ask "How long have you been studying Chinese?" it may be taken as a Human experimentation project.
    Perhaps phrasing it as "How long have you been learning Chinese (or the particular dialect)?" may be a better idea. - That is unless it really is a "social experiment" and you're discussing it with others doing the same thing in that or other regions.
    (Yes, I'm an equal opportunity smart ass and would use the phrasing to irritate someone. - Purely for my own entertainment.)

      It is good for street chinese, exactly what most people are looking for when learning a language on youtube. nobody wants to sound like a stiff. Here is not the place for douchebaggery... kick rocks. your sentance "i can do better than she does if i dont want to be embarssed" what a blunder of a sentance that was, work on your own english before you critique someone elses. you butchered that sentance. Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. maybe her grammar isnt perfect but her ability to help learners remember phrases is second to none. Which is much more important. So no you could not do better
