      LIKE YAMMIE PUBE SAID IN HIS OPINION.
      THE HONDA CB 650R & CBR 650R IS BETTER THEN THE REST THIS IS WHY.
      THE HONDA HAS GREAT STOCK BRAKES EXCELLENT STOCK SUSPENSION PLUS ITS A HONDA INLINE 4 YOUR CAN'T KILL A HONDA.
      THE APRILIA RS660 HAS ISSUES LIKE ALL APRILIA'S DO THE TRIUMPH TRIDENT DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH BALLS.
      AND TALKING ABOUT NOT HAVING ENOUGH BALLS OH MY GOSH STAY AWAY FROM THE Z650 BECAUSE IT HAS NO BALL BECAUSE THE MANSCAPED LAWN MOWER 1.0 LOPPED THEM OFF BECAUSE IT DIDN'T HAVE A NICK GUARD LIKE THE NEW AND IMPROVED LAWN MOWER 4.0 SO GO GET YOUR LAWN MOWER NOW BECAUSE NO GIRL LIKES NEANDERTHAL BALL.
      YOUR OK WITH THE NINJA 650 BUY IT NEEDS A EXHAUST KN AIR FILTER AND A RACE ECU TUNE TO BE VERY GOOD FOR THE STREET.
      THE MT-07 IS WAY TO WHEELIE HAPPY THAT THING CAN PULL A DANK NOONER IN 3RD GEAR DONT ASK ME HOW I KNOW SO NOT THE GREATEST FOR THE STREET PLUS IT HAS SUCH A CRAPPY SUSPENSION.

    Of course Yammie would complain the cbr650r is too expensive and sucks because it's fully faired, and then put the most expensive faired bike in the class at the top of the list.

      I was about to point this out but fortunately you did it sooner so thanx :D
      I SOMETIMES can't seriously understand yammi's logic in comparing bikes...and regarding the subject of putting most [NOT all] hondas in the lower ranks in many of his videos, I have to say although I like the guy but I've seen MANY [again not all] Yamaha fans [mostly Americans] hating on hondas...I donno why they have this sense of hatred or whatever you wanna call it deep in them
      I'm a Honda fanboy myself a bit but I've always had HUGE respect for EVERY other Japanese and MOST Euro brands and I know every manufacturer has good and bad products

      On the other hand, its only a couple $100 less than the Kawasaki zx6r with better brakes, suspension and more power.
      That's the difficult part of the cbr650, it's a small step above the 650twins and a small step below the 600 i4 supersports

      Because the most expensive is the only one with complete electronics, quickshifter etc..., with brembo brakes (honda infamously kept using rubber lines even on the 1000 leaderbike until the latest models). Because it’s the lightest of the bunch, and with the best suspension etc... the problem with Honda is that makes you pay a lot of money for a not so worthy bike. If the cbr costed 2 grand less I bet it would have been in the top 4 at least.

    • @kleinbottled79
      @kleinbottled79 3 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Plus the fact that any slightly conservative motorcyclist would hesitate to plunk down their hard earned cash on a release year Italian design. Like so many motorcycle pundits, Yammy seems to put almost no weight at all into the category of reliability. Cost matters, but not the service costs? What is the value of not breaking down on the side of the road? Granted the CBR650R is pretty expensive for what you get, it's like $300 less than a ZX6. But as cool as that Aprillia is, there is no way I would consider owning one until they have been around a few years, go through the recall cycle, get revised, and then if that all goes really well, maybe I buy one used in like 6 years. You could trust the Honda today.
      I don't necessarily think the CBR650R is better than the Aprilia, the Italian bike is very 'cool' and does make the Honda look and feel a little boring in comparison. But having them at opposite ends of the chart is pretty comical. I also wonder a bit about the Trident in #2. If they are reliable out of the box that is probably a fair ranking. If not... it's not.

  • @AlexTheLi0n
    @AlexTheLi0n 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Like other who have commented here reliability has its price and that’s what Honda delivers. Also he’s does say that it’s his opinion and not a started fact. With that being said I put zero stock in his opinion on the Triumph and the Aprilla. Both of these manufacturers have been know to have issues. For me reliability means a lot more than an opinion about a bike that you have never ridden. To put that in perspective it’s like saying well Toyota makes great cars so of course their next car will be great as well. My recommendation would be to make these types of videos based on actual experience and not marketing.

    It's crazy what one little bike like the Aprilia can do to an entire segment. Wonder how soon the other brands will jump onto that high-spec middleweight class. I have a '19 650xt V-Strom. Amaaaaaazing bike. Very highly underrated. Good price. Not too bad on maintenance costs. Not pretty, but I would pick it over any of the bikes mentioned in the video, in a heartbeat.
      Traction control, ABS, nice dash.
      It's a little meaty (wide and long), but that's the way, uh uh, I like it, uh uh.
      The clutch is featherweight and the brakes are probably some of the best in it's price range.
      I like the suspension, although most people end up upgrading it. I don't really care, feels good to me.
      It's really torqey at low RPMs too, which I prefer over torque at high RPMs. I don't really get a chance to get up to siper high RPMs on the street anyway.
      Having that low end torque can really pull you out of crappy situations real quick.
      It'a not particularly good looking... at first. Over the last few months though, I kinda love the ugly duckling look. It's just super unique-looking, and looks best from the side.
      Factory tires are pretty nice, but don't expect to go offroad without guardrails and a skidplate.
      Also, at under $10k, it beats the shit out of all the bikes in this video.
      And spare parts/maintenance is reasonable.

    • @callumaltair9806
      @callumaltair9806 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@trevormartin8497 Dude, the reason why the R6 got cancelled is because it's a track bike disguised as a street bike. Not to mention, it's stiff on corners, average handling, possesses limited electronics and it is uncomfortable as fuck. The RS 660 is hybrid model but guess what? It has useable power, loads of electronics (five riding modes and adjustable suspension), far superior handling, and has much more comfortable ergonomics. Aprilia made a masterpiece.
