I have been weight training for many years. I’m 70 now and besides being a crap runner, I weight train two to three times per week. I’m usually sore and always tired after a workout. I get a good feeling (endorphins) after running but not after the weight workout. I hope I’m just weird and you start getting that food feel afterwards. Keep at it, you’re doing great!💪🏽
