But if I get a high potential kid and he's 6'3" I'll give him a shot too and hope for the best. 6'2" and below, it depends on their rating and potential. If they're decent enough, I'll promote them then loan them out for a year or two. If they develop nicely, then GREAT! I then sell them for a decent chunk of money.

A real cool rebuild would be to do Athletic Bilbao but only using your academy recruiting out of Spain. Bilbao have a long history of only using local home grown players so it would be interesting to use them to get a championship

I manage low leagues alot, as all my fav teams are low league, I look in like Spanish 2nd div, German 3rd, sometimes A-League, or look in league 2 if your managing league 1 teams

Just a small thing, for some of the 40-50 low ish rated youth academy players, a lot of the time i find they train to like +12-16 training them outta position, ie a 47 leftback trained to 62 rated lw, hope this helps 👍
Seen this happen several times before. For example, a kid comes in 49 rated. Turns out he's in the wrong position for his skills. I change their position and suddenly their rating goes up to a 62. The biggest jump in rating I've personally seen was a 15 year old I converted from a RB to a RW. He went from a 47 rating up to 62 rating. +15!!! The key is paying attention to their stats when they arrive into your Youth Academy. A lot of times a kid comes in with a rating below 50 is because he's out of position.

Do the hardest rebuild ever - create a club and edit all their ratings to the lowest possible, it might be 1 overall, meaning u need to try and change them all, can give yourself a small amount of money eg 1.5 mill for the first season to get things started
Am I the only one who have a max shown potential of 94 in the youth academy ? I’ve always thought that 94 was the maximum but I see here 97, 99 etc. Am I the only one to be confused ?
I feel like with these youth save’s it’s actually better to get relegated in the first season. It seems like the growth is slower if you’re in the championship for example and your players are not getting the goals/assists
good rebuild but you have to learn how to properly use the youth academy: - Have to use development plans -If under 60 rated don’t bother signing (maybe for the lower leagues around 55) - Don’t use scouts if they aren’t 5*5*
