Suggestions for future Academy rebuilds:
•Check what position the players are rated best in. Promote & put them in the starting 11- look for positions that give them an instant sharpness boost. Eg Carvalho- instant sharpness boost when put at CM, and when converted went up by that amount. Decreases work the same. This is regardless of time required for conversion.
•Players that aren’t growing as well, even on loan, release or sell them early. If they do well, you can buy them later given they’re technically from your academy. More importantly, frees squad space & play time.
•Maybe do a regen and academy rebuild- allows free agent regens like Messi, Ronaldo etc to give you something to do with your money in later seasons and extra fun.
•Shorter goalkeepers in general don’t tend to work as well in simulations and ingame. While the goalkeeper was good, his height might’ve reduced how good he was. Scout for taller ones

Agree with your statement about GKs and height. When I scout for youth academy GKs, my minimum height requirement is 6'4". But if I get a high potential kid and he's 6'3" I'll give him a shot too and hope for the best. 6'2" and below, it depends on their rating and potential. If they're decent enough, I'll promote them then loan them out for a year or two. If they develop nicely, then GREAT! I then sell them for a decent chunk of money.

U gotta utilize more of the development plans Jarrad, having players on balance is fine but if they were thrown into different plans, it'll enhance their growth even more
Jarrad, if the conversion to another position is gonna take ages, he's not gonna convert and have an amazing overall boost, you just have to judge it off of their stats and where they would be best playing and not their alternate positions

Why do you never use development plans?
In my experience leaving it on balanced cuts growth in half or even more compared to adjusting their plans each month.
It grows all their stats so they're more well rounded. Instead of having a 95 rated winger with 99 pace, 96 shooting, 80 passing, 90 dribbling, 45 defending and 60 physical you could have one thats 99 in everything if you wait a bit longer.
I'm a fairly new watcher and this was by far the best rebuild I've seen you do, not just in terms of promotions but the team was unreal too!!!!

Youth academy rebuilds are always fantastic, I remember 2017 fifa I did all 15 seasons with spurs and after 3 seasons I used nothing but youth players and got them all up to 92+ I loved that team gave them back stories the lot just because it was so fun 😀

A real cool rebuild would be to do Athletic Bilbao but only using your academy recruiting out of Spain. Bilbao have a long history of only using local home grown players so it would be interesting to use them to get a championship
36:13 i’m not saying it’s cheating, but the potentials are definitely modded. I’ve never seen a potential higher than 94 and i’ve been playing since FIFA 14😅 But it’s all good as long as the video is good😂❤

Am I the only one who have a max shown potential of 94 in the youth academy ? I’ve always thought that 94 was the maximum but I see here 97, 99 etc.

Just a small thing, for some of the 40-50 low ish rated youth academy players, a lot of the time i find they train to like +12-16 training them outta position, ie a 47 leftback trained to 62 rated lw, hope this helps 👍
SOMEONE MAKE THIS POPULAR
Seen this happen several times before. For example, a kid comes in 49 rated. Turns out he's in the wrong position for his skills. I change their position and suddenly their rating goes up to a 62. The biggest jump in rating I've personally seen was a 15 year old I converted from a RB to a RW. He went from a 47 rating up to 62 rating. +15!!!
The key is paying attention to their stats when they arrive into your Youth Academy. A lot of times a kid comes in with a rating below 50 is because he's out of position.

Try to win the European competition (Champions League) with a team full of players from each country in Europe (there are 47)
Make a team full of players from Yugoslavia and try to win the Champions League - without the war, their national team would be incredible today

hey Jarrad, just wondering how you find the low level players you usually sign when you’re in the lower leagues?
I manage low leagues alot, as all my fav teams are low league, I look in like Spanish 2nd div, German 3rd, sometimes A-League, or look in league 2 if your managing league 1 teams

Amazing idea how were the potentials always just the same on both sides and you also always had the players on balanced training styles so next time change them for more growth

Apparently its just a mod that shows true potentials. So we get those 99 rated players as well but they only ever show a max potential of like 94

I feel like with these youth save’s it’s actually better to get relegated in the first season. It seems like the growth is slower if you’re in the championship for example and your players are not getting the goals/assists
good rebuild but you have to learn how to properly use the youth academy: - Have to use development plans -If under 60 rated don’t bother signing (maybe for the lower leagues around 55) - Don’t use scouts if they aren’t 5*5*

Do the hardest rebuild ever - create a club and edit all their ratings to the lowest possible, it might be 1 overall, meaning u need to try and change them all, can give yourself a small amount of money eg 1.5 mill for the first season to get things started
