Honestly one of the best cod story ever, whole thing about Reznov not actually being there and only in Mason’s mind. Thats the thing i like about cod campaign, the twists are the most unexpected ones.

My first COD game I ever played brings back so much memories when I would come home from school on weekends I would hop on a game Playing BO1 and 2. Where time was much more simpler where you can actually enjoy the story instead of always worrying about Online gaming miss the time where you can just sit back and enjoy the story how the developers wanted you to feel the emotion for the characters wanted you to feel like you was going to war in the story miss those times. Nowadays can't do that seem like everybody got a opinion about shit quick to criticize stuff before sitting back and analyze stuff.
Black ops 2 had garbage singleplayer though since it required you to do shit minigames that had nothing to do with the story to get a decent ending otherwise you'd get the bad ending

that ending is so cold, shit implies Mason was responsible for assassinating JFK, love how Dragovich's last words was literally "Tried?" when Mason said about making him try to kill his own president. then that cinematic with Mason in the final shot? sheeeesh, i love this game's writing. nothing amazing, but its bloody good. Black Ops has solid writing, you can rewatch it and it always makes sense, because the writing builds from World at War, it feels like a world, a story. Best shit they'll ever do.
Please correct me if I’m wrong but how could he have unless JFK is already dead before the end of the game? The last mission said 1968 & wasn’t JFK killed 1963 so how could mason have killed him after killing Dragovic? Or are they implying the president has already been assassinated by the end of the game?
@@Mrckid97When Mason escaped the prison on October 1963; he was already brainwashed by the three main bad guys. But Reznov brainwashed Mason to kill those 3 bad guys too. It is implied that Mason was the 2nd shooter after Oswald got compromised.

This game is kickass, ngl. I miss the old days when you could feel an attachment to the whirlwinds of emotion and an escape from a more "modern" civilization...back when the world wasn't a bunch of snowflakes and cod had the guts to portay want they wanted in the more badass way possible
The thing is, in COD BO1 people don't actually always understand the story until someone enlightens them. In BO 1 you can't trust anybody, your friends, your country, the enemy, nobody, they're all your 'enemy' in the end attempting to manipulate you.

Just recently finally decided to play and beat the campaign. What a great story, the twist of Reznov just being only in your mind was pretty unexpecting too. I really wanna play Black Ops 2's story now
You know it’s a fucken good game when I still get goosebumps listening to President Kennedy talk to Mason. And the little details like having Lee Harvey Oswald (Kennedys killer) on the TV’s behind him… Superb
This just goes to show how out of tune Activision is with its community, this shows that the fans would love an ultimate Call of Duty type of game. Honestly, we've recently started playing Call of Duty Mobile and it was fun but also addicting. The fact that it was a Call of Duty with maps and weapons from across all Call of Duty's, I honestly think its the way they should go especially since they're so negligent towards Multi-Player now in favour of Warzone. At least we have SM2 on the way which will be great fun and bring back all those memories on great Call of Duty's such as Modern Warfare 2 etc...

Has anyone besides me realized that the endings to this and modern warfare 3 are kinda similar. The main villain threatens to shoot you dead while you’re down. Your teammate comes to save you. Then you pull them down and kill them in some form by blocking their airways. The main difference is Hudson doesn’t die and Yuri does. Also the way you block off their air is different. But in all at least killing the main villain in each game is similar. Just me?
This was the best COD Black Ops ever created. I'm talking gameplay, graphics, storyline, dialogue, characters, violence, the explosions and shit. Best COD ever, doesn't get any better that this.

No only the writing but the actual references and accurate historical details they put into this story… This game is an easy 9/10 9.5/10
