My parish is going through this "Amazing Parish" renewal and it is quickly becoming Protestantized. How I wish it would revert back to what it used to be where Our Lord was the most important one, not fellowship between the parishoners. .

I do hope that you will eventually change to not facing the people and using just the regular large altar not the table altar. And going to the Latin language, for the mass. You do all this awesome stuff and you leave out to the most important parts

Keep up the good work. Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added... This is an awesome testimony. In some Diocese, however, the Bishops' have certain liturgical authority which might prohibit progress in things like Alter Boys and the way Communion is distributed, etc. But I think God, in those instances, would reward faithful obedience even if it hurts. I haven't been to a novus ordo mass in a long time. It looks very odd to me to see the priest facing the people during the elevation.

Yes, all this fixing of the church and having the Altar Boys and the communion rails and the choirs and then you see the priest and a regular table altar facing the people. Oh brother
I go to this parish every Sunday and they no longer face the people, only the alter
I see from the parish website that Fr Cook left St Peter's in 2015. What became of him? Did he go on to do similar work in another parish?

It’s a lack of devotion and respect to God and to His son to NOT GET ON YOUR KNEES WHEN RECEIVING HIM!

The Mass is equally effective in English with some Latin, but not go back to pre Vatican 2.We need reverent priests who celebrate Mass with reverence.Not over in one half hour, and a lost homily too not. The priest is the example that people have I am Polish and come from a very beautiful church, as Polish people always have.
