@@GIPNOZER_SOUND Of course I will often visit your channel, I am also currently purchasing semi-modular instruments to experiment with, at least you and several other channels are my inspiration in assembling musical instruments
You are really the master amongst masters, GIPNOZER. I'm finding that there's something about inexpensive synths with expensive reverbs that really hits the spot. Much as a Moog One is amazing, if you put a Crave with a top notch reverb, it's better... Or more 2001 A Space Odyssey perhaps... OK, not better, just more my cup of tea. And you really have excellent taste. I love what you did here with the simplest of sequences and subtle filter adjustments. Superb cosmonautics comrade! I was transported in my thoughts to near earth orbit, circa 1963, by this truly lovely piece of music. Thank you! p.s. That was a Neutron?! Dang, I was thinking it sounded as sweet as a Pro-1. I bet it would sound lush with a Pro-1. And all for
Thank you!!! Thank you so much Graham! I am very pleased that you think so. This inspires me a lot! But unfortunately or fortunately, I still have to go to the master, go and go .... Search, study, discover, comprehend, experiment and learn. But I would like that... … Yes you are right! In the genre in which I create atmosphere, a good quality reverb is as essential as air. Without him, none of this would be possible. There will be no magic. This is the very spice!)) With a good reverb, any sound can be turned into a multi-layered sound canvas. And I'm happy that you're so into these sound sequences that sent you back in time. In the very beginning of astronautics. It's amazing! I listen to this track myself and I really like it!) Neutron is still that thing. He can really compete with the monsters of the industry and defend the fight! I've been looking for something like this for a long time. Its features and value for money are amazing!!! Yes, I'm sure a hundred with PRO-1 it will sound great!!! ✨🎛✨ Thank you again for sharing your emotions and impressions!!! 👽✊🏽
Thank you for this amazing piece of sound sculpturing 🎉❤ can i ask, how long of a stretch can i make a sequence last with an Korg sq 1? In seconds i mean, just roughly, i am a recovering addict, and i sold all of my heart 10 yrs ago for drugs, but i just bought the Behringer k2 and want to get a good sequencer, i like making ambient soundscapes to, but want to get away from the box and use my hands and ears again 😊
I am very glad that you are now normal and got rid of a terrible addiction! It's even scary to imagine how it is... let sound, music, ambient beautiful textures be your addiction ✨🎛✨ In fact, in sq-1 there is no such thing that it reproduces sequences in seconds. It has only 16 steps, at each step you can assign your key, either mute the step, or skip it. Also, these steps can be divided into two blocks of 8 steps, and they can play the melody independently. And its possibilities do not end there. I recommend you watch reviews and live using sq-1. And you can better understand how it works. Also yes, block A - 8 steps you can connect to one synth, and block B - 8 steps to another. It turns out you can connect only 2 synths. I hope I answered your question. The K-2 synth is very cool. I don't have it, but I hope it will appear with time✨🎛✨ In any case, I wish you good luck and success in stretching the universe of sound. If anything write to me. Whatever I can do, I'll help... Also check out this channel. There is a very cool use of sq-1 : youtube.com/@jimiguitarssynths2189
Thank you so much for your comment and especially for your subscription🙏🏼 I don’t use DAWs in my video performances. The only thing I do after recording is multiband compression. And so everything you see on the screen is what it sounds. No DAW or additional effects. Everything is immediately recorded into a portable recorder. Come visit us again sometime ✨🎛️🎧🎛️✨
Greetings! The fact is that the Behringer Neutron has two VCOs and the patch block has inputs for their separate control, and the Korg SQ-1 did not help with this. It was he who helped me manage each VCO separately. In the video, you can see which wire goes where and repeat it yourself! This is very cool and entertaining! ✨🎛✨
Greetings! In the moment where I used modulation, I did not apply it to a specific one oscillator and both generators were modulated (as far as I remember) But it is possible that the 1st generator was connected to E.GATE on Neutron and to GATE A in SQ-1. It is also possible that this effect was smoothed out by deep reverb. I need to test what I wrote to you. As soon as I know the exact answer, I will add to this answer and let you know.
Another beautiful one! Plus, I have an SQ-1 and a Neutron too :D It looks like sequence A is a 7-step sequence for osc 1, and its gate is going to env 1. I see that you're using the step jump mode to manually play the notes in sequence B, which goes to osc 2, right? What I don't understand is how sequence B isn't triggering osc 2 on each step, but only when you touch them? Magic mysteries! 🧙🏻♂
amazing sound.everything is very well together but gear is nothing without inspiration and talent. I have a question on the recording ? Did you use only the tascam DR40X ? thx
Thank you very much for your comment and for listening to the track! :) Yes, in all my videos I only use Tascam DR-40X when recording. But after recording in my daw, I apply a multiband compressor to the recorded track. And nothing more. I will be glad to see you on my kaeala again someday ✨🎛️🎧🎛️✨
Great! Yes, you definitely need a recorder. Writing in daw is very good, but using a standalone recorder is very nice and interesting. This opens up new moments of inspiration and independence from everything)
Thank you very much for the comment! I am very glad that you liked this track! Yes, the melody and tonal support is controlled and started using SQ-1 at the expense of two oscillators in NEUTRON. Q1 manages them as two separate tracks :)
