    I love how it still has the forged look left into all the parts. Great looking dagger.

    Bro, I wish I had a forge. I’d just spend all day forging stuff and perfecting making knives because that looks like so much fun

    Really good to see someone hot fitting a guard the traditional way. A superior fit up and no gaps guaranteed.
    Beautiful work as always. Thanks for the time and effort you put into creating content for us :)

    Gorgeous piece, I'm not usually a fan of the mirror finish but the steep hollow grinds you put in really make that finish work well

      Thank you very much. I agree! it definitely has to have a certain style to it for it to not look out of place.

    Looks practical, real world bordering on grimdark, like Berserk, less like LOTR. Very different than the "daggers" most TH-camrs make.

    19:37 or, how I almost lost a finger in shop class. Was grinding a ring on a grinder with a heavey steel guard. Ring went out of my hands, got chewed through the back of the wheel and guard and shot out the top right into the joint where my thumb meets my hand. Got a lovely scar and some arthritis from the incedent but nothing else. Could have been a lot worse if it hit a different spot.

    • @MakeNCreate
      @MakeNCreate  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you Jon! Yes they are indeed a it a bit of a challenge since the whole handle almost has be treated as one with the transitions. Found myself working on the guard then handle to pommel etc. Jumping from piece to piece with no structure. Learned bunches though.

      Nah cuz he’s about average at forging and has to use power tools definitely not gonna be convenient although I do admit he does have lovely craftsman’s ship as many people do not have the attention span to spend that long on a dagger
