Since those old times of Jean-Pierre Rampal I don't remember having listened to any player who plays the flute as Mimi Stillman does.

That was wonderful. The cadenza in the first movement was sparkling. Would love to hear an improvised, or self written, one. Do people do that these days?
The second movement, though. Your tone, choices of articulation, and care of the lines are all absolutely lovely.
And nailed the third. So much fun.
Also, your hair looks GREAT. :-)

In this performance, you heard my own cadenza for the second movement and my improvised eingang in the third. I do improvise all my cadenzas for Mozart now, but don't always have access to the recordings due to orchestras' union rules, unfortunately.

I know that the 1st mvt cadenza is by Taffanel & Gaubert, but who wrote the ones for the 2nd and 3rd? (I'm just guessing YOU?) Such virtuosic playing, as usual, my dear Maestra!

Thank you for your lovely comment. Yes, it's the Taffanel and Gaubert cadenza for the first movement, and wrote the others. Since this performance, I've been improvising my cadenzas which is a great challenge and learning experience. Best wishes to you!
