I hate how they make it like Russ is now a scrub. So we ain’t gonna act like those wins he and the broncos had last year against teams like KC, who just won the Super Bowl last year, wasn’t a testament to how good Russell Wilson can be? And they would’ve still kept winning if the Broncos box office and Sean Payton weren’t being shady to Russ as the season was still going. They could’ve made the playoffs that year. Stop with the BS, Russell Wilson can still play, he’s still a capable starting quarterback, I’m sure every team that doesn’t have a bonafide franchise quarterback, they would jump to get Russ if given the chance, stop the BS media, please 🤦🏽

There's not a single human that has watched any of the preseason in Latrobe that thinks Justin is going to take the job over Russell Wilson. Everything about how he has showed up has been crisp, on time, and commanding. Justin is going to be great, but he's not there yet. Russ could throw four interceptions tomorrow and still he will be the starter week one. These guys have no idea what they are talking about.

Last year, Russell Wilson had 26 td 8 int, and a 98.0 passer rating. He's competing with Jusin Fields for a starting job. Matthew Stafford had 24 tds 11 ints and 92,5 passer rating and he's competing with the 49ers for the NFCW Make it make sense?

How is it that much pressure on Russ and he's playing in Pittsburgh for minimum money and getting crazy loot from a team he isn't even playing for? And he's already been to 2 Super Bowls and won 1 of them. And he's closer to the end of his career than the beginning. So, it's unlikely that he's feeling that magnitude of pressure!
Dude, Russell said himself that he wants to win 2-3 more Superbowls in the next 4 years. Guess what a team would have to want to pay him an extension for that to happen. And he would have to prove he’s worth that big extension ESPECIALLY with the shown proof that his game has regressed. Mind you his previous team game up draft capital, players and gave him an extension and 2 years later he’s already on a new team. Both quarterbacks have something to prove.

It seems odd looking at them at that stage. Acho was a 6'1 Linebacker and James was a 6'1 wide receiver, when they played. But now it looks like Jones is the LB and Acho was the receiver.
You start Wilson, even if he isn't great as long as he is solid, he will win the job.
Fields is not ready to be a starter yet. Too many mistakes, bad reads, bad throws. Yes he is talented but he's a future prospect that could be great or just stay at the level he is.

If he can be Russ from last season they'll be solid frfr. They gave a great run game and defense. They don't need him to be Mahomes. They just need someone that can throw the ball when they need to air it out.
He had 3k passing yards, 26tds and 8 picks. Look at the QBs they had last season. Their combined stats were worse and the Steelers went 10-7. Plus they improved on their defense roster in the offseason....
