I love dead cells the game, even though I am stuck on it. I will check if you done a video about Dead cells and all it's DLC, Also your upcoming review of they always run now the bug is fixed. I guess we can just hope the bug fix is in the physical, Otherwise the point of having physical is pointless! Physical is to preserve games for the future, when digital updates and digital games are not available!!! Some people don't give a damn about video game preservation, which is why physical games are released with nasty bugs that require a digital update. Or... Half the physical game requires a digital download! TOTAL BATSHIT INSANITY!!!!
Nooo…just bought it this morning. I hope they fix it soon. I guess I’ll play Underhero instead for awhile. It has a good discount right now and received good reviews.
So this one's getting interesting. It seems yesterday, the dev posted that the console release had to be delayed, no doubt because of this. I'm not sure what's happening though as I never got any further updates and the game went live on the store this morning - I intentionally waited with the video until I saw it live on the eshop because I would never release a video on a game that's being delayed to correct something. Sometimes these things slip through, that's life. In this case though, as it stands, people are spending there money on it so hopefully this video provides some value to you all! Seems the team behind it though are working to get things to where they need to be which is what we want and it's good to see.

The physical version preorder start today on VGP, I will definitely get it. It does not look like a difficult bug to solve. The fix will be in the cartridge by the time we receive it in 3 months.

For me, it's a case of start with the bug and that's all people will watch and drop off and that will, in the long run hurt the game, a patch is already being worked on to fix it up. it seems even they pulled it from xbox and playstation but I need to give people a reason to look out for it in the future.

Looks cool. - Game breaking bugs are so rough. I remember playing KOTOR2, twice, and the logic bomb in that one killed my save data twice. I hope if they re-release that, that they fix the logic so it won't get the game progress stuck.
Run away from this one? I think not! It's a really really good game. I have it on the steam deck and I'll be buying the physical version on switch. So if anybody is on the fence about if the game is good or not? Buy it, it is. U can thank me later.
I recently got my PS4 collector's edition from Red Art Games shipped finally, can't wait to play it, my backlog is huge. Obviously it's probably been patched by now, but I don't understand how we got to this point where Switch collecting takes such a priority over PS4/PS5 when it's quite a bit underpowered and behind the current gen systems technically. I get the whole DLC/patches on cart thing, but its not always the latest patch, so why go out of your way? I think ppl went from wanting an entire bookcase of NES carts, to now they want that red wall of Switch games, IDK. With almost all these "limited" game companies, the Switch port will get about 5,000 copies printed whereas the PS4 copy gets 1,200. I don't understand the mentality of "I only buy Switch ports because it's portable," why play a worse experience because of brand loyalty. Maybe I'm just a curmudgeonly couch gamer since '89, I don't enjoy looking down to play or holding the screen up to my face. A Gameboy is different, every portable Switch session I've had, I use a controller and stand the console up in front of me so I don't kink my neck. I don't buy that most Switch collectors are actually enjoying taking their Switch and rare limited games everywhere to play on the bus.
even with the bug fixed, this game needs more patches. I've respawned to my character falling even though they are on solid ground and a plethora of other weird bugs. Ultimately, the game LOOKS great but plays like it needed more time in development. The controls are jenky and unresponsive. It's a sort of heartbreaking look at a game that COULD'VE been great, but got hung up on aesthetics and ended up being borderline unplayable.
I checked steam where it released in october of 2021, and its gotten a net score of very positive! If you are interested dont forget there are other platforms to buy it on!

Could be my fried brain from work but I popped this In yesterday finally and it seemed like it did a poor job of getting the player acclimated with the control scheme. Seemed overly cumbersome and complicated probably only cause it threw almost 6 different mechanics at you in first minute and my head couldn’t wrap itself around it. Again may have been my mood but it definitely is an example at pacing the games “tutorial “ section
When it comes to 2D side scrollers, the detailed backgrounds are what can make or break the experience for me. This game definitely delivers in that department. Unfortunately, with the game experiencing issues, it will not be joining my backlog. I may revisit it in the future if I can make room for it.

Nintendo are the slowest for updates, patches always take longer so I think it’s the same with listings. It seems they were able to pull the PlayStation and Xbox release

I went on their Twitter. They said yesterday they had to postpone the console versions for a limited time. Wondering if this is why. Not sure why it’s still on the Eshop

Pretty confident this will get fixed... because once it does, I'll be purchasing the game. Aside from the bug, it does look incredibly fun and my type of sidescroller.
The combat system looks absolutely amazing in this game. Its too bad it has issues, hopefully will a couple patches it changes from a avoid to worth a pick up because the game play you showcased looked really cool

Sounds like it should never have gone live on any console as well. It looks like Xbox it’s been taken down, PlayStation is showing a countdown of 7am PST to go live, Nintendo you can part with your cash

I cannot clear a particular jump on the train level and it’s completely ridiculous. There is no physical way to clear the jump and I have no idea if I’m missing an upgrade nor is it clear how I can return to hub world to get one if I was. Anyone else experience this problem?

I guessed that was the case and why they pulled it from all stores. I just wasn’t sure because some reviews had come out but I had a feeling, they never bothered to play an hour of the game before reviewing
I keep running into the bug on my series x. Uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted level and game and checkpoint but still same thing. Really is a shame it keeps happening
Got this on ps5 game is fire! I guess it wasn’t working right when it dropped but I definitely didn’t find the need to “run away” from purchasing it. Interesting you went real hard on this game when others I’ve seen on here have many more shortcomings 🤔
The game was broken on launch, if they were kind to it if the video was released at launch, then they never played the game far enough because it was impossible to get around. Funny you comment on this one though, I’m actually revisiting it for a review later in the week, aim is currently Friday
The problem is, ITS BROKEN! Everything else just doesnt matter at this point if theres a glaring game breaking bug that so obviously should have been noted in testing. Releasing a broken game and patching it later is just not on. Companys who do this deserve for the game to flop
Well the devs posted yesterday it seems, that it would be delayed. It looks like it was removed from the xbox store, it looks like PlayStation went live but the Switch build has still gone live. Maybe Nintendo are not so quick for the updates. They never reached out to tell me this unfortunately, I learnt about it from a comment and confirmed over on Twitter. Hopefully they can get it taken down but people are currently able to purchase it.

I've been having a blast. It seems that it never should have went live, they never emailed but the dev yesterday advised a delay. This morning though, you can still purchase it so it seems nintendo are not updating quick enough or something else occured
@@SwitchCorner maybe not enough people have experienced the bug to make it a priority for Nintendo to act. Unfortunately I have seen it happen before where bugs get ignored for a while because they don't think it effects enough people to warrant mandatory actions.

I just bought this on Xbox. Hidden gem this far. It's like Metroid meets the Mandalorian lol

Game can't progress beyond the second level due to a bug. Needs to be patched before playing.

Shame, because watching both yours and Luke's review the game itself seems really really good.

Pretty confident this will get fixed... because once it does, I'll be purchasing the game.
Aside from the bug, it does look incredibly fun and my type of sidescroller.
Yeah it’s great fun this far, it will be fixed, seems they tried to delay but didn’t manage it in time on the switch unfortunately
The combat system looks absolutely amazing in this game. Its too bad it has issues, hopefully will a couple patches it changes from a avoid to worth a pick up because the game play you showcased looked really cool

Turns out according to the developer yesterday on Twitter, it should have been delayed but this morning the game has still gone live so I'm not sure what's happening, seems they are working to take the correct steps but for some reason, people can still buy it

Sounds like it should never have gone live on any console as well. It looks like Xbox it’s been taken down, PlayStation is showing a countdown of 7am PST to go live, Nintendo you can part with your cash

It seems, it wasn't due to be released. A few of us reached out and let them know. Then, According to Twitter it should have been delayed on all consoles - this morning though it still went live. Someone commented and kindly pointed this out so I’m not sure what’s happening. A delay makes the most sense but they may not have stopped it in time. Looks like the delay kicked in for playstation and xbox but nothing for Nintendo yet
@@SwitchCorner It is so weird that it ended up on the eshop like this. Somebody somewhere down the line pushed a button that they shouldn't have. Maybe the big red PUBLISH one 😉
Lol, I actually think it’s nintendo. All other platforms get patches quicker. I think the turnaround time with them is slow when devs and publishers submit a request
I cannot clear a particular jump on the train level and it’s completely ridiculous. There is no physical way to clear the jump and I have no idea if I’m missing an upgrade nor is it clear how I can return to hub world to get one if I was.

Things are getting weird, my guess is, they couldn't get nintendo to work quick enough. From what I'm seeing, playstation is still scheduled to go live today at 7am PST and Xbox, it looks like it was removed. My guess is, this issue is all platforms or there's an issue of some sort on all atleast. Right now it is live though to buy so hopefully, it has value. I would never release a video if there was a delay for the reason of fixing, that's the response we want. I didn't receive any update unfortunately though following reporting the issue I found.

I guessed that was the case and why they pulled it from all stores. I just wasn’t sure because some reviews had come out but I had a feeling, they never bothered to play an hour of the game before reviewing

I keep running into the bug on my series x. Uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted level and game and checkpoint but still same thing. Really is a shame it keeps happening

Got this on ps5 game is fire! I guess it wasn’t working right when it dropped but I definitely didn’t find the need to “run away” from purchasing it.

The game was broken on launch, if they were kind to it if the video was released at launch, then they never played the game far enough because it was impossible to get around. Funny you comment on this one though, I’m actually revisiting it for a review later in the week, aim is currently Friday

The problem is, ITS BROKEN! Everything else just doesnt matter at this point if theres a glaring game breaking bug that so obviously should have been noted in testing. Releasing a broken game and patching it later is just not on. Companys who do this deserve for the game to flop

Well the devs posted yesterday it seems, that it would be delayed. It looks like it was removed from the xbox store, it looks like PlayStation went live but the Switch build has still gone live. Maybe Nintendo are not so quick for the updates. They never reached out to tell me this unfortunately, I learnt about it from a comment and confirmed over on Twitter. Hopefully they can get it taken down but people are currently able to purchase it.
Would you classify this as "MetroidVania" style play or more straight forward? Saw a pre order for the physical coming later, hope the patch is on cart! Thanks for the great preview!
Straight forward, there’s a few branching paths but it’s consistently new dedicated levels so not a metroidvania

That's unfortunate that the game has a game braking but because it looked sorta interesting to play.
I've been having a blast. It seems that it never should have went live, they never emailed but the dev yesterday advised a delay. This morning though, you can still purchase it so it seems nintendo are not updating quick enough or something else occured
@@SwitchCorner maybe not enough people have experienced the bug to make it a priority for Nintendo to act. Unfortunately I have seen it happen before where bugs get ignored for a while because they don't think it effects enough people to warrant mandatory actions.
