Most of the tools I use are from Snap-on and the measuring equipment is from Mitutoyo.

Christianity has absolutely nothing to do with what the tool is called, and absolutely nothing to do with my desire to let others know what it is called.
Excellent tips, I used many of those in my working career. On the double wrench trick, or anytime using wrenches, if you're pushing on the wrench, use the palm of your hand open, if your fingers are wrapped around the wrench and it slips off, your knuckles will hit aluminum with skin ripping force! 3:34 in Switzerland, we dont say slide hammer, we say "Elefantenwichser" and I think its beautiful! xD
In Germany we just call them "Wichser"
Haha...I've got an 5KG slide hammer! In comparison with the others, can i call it "Elephantjerker" (sorry, a try to translate "Elefantenwichser")?

if you have any silica gel packets, you could add a few prior to wrapping the block in plastic to absorb any moisture.
i used to work for a company that imported Trumpf Machinery into Australia, i really wish i had grabbed a few dozen of the 2Kg bags that came with every machine.

If the dowel pins are in a blind hole you can use a close fitting bit of anything (or not so close and some tape) put some water or grease in the hole and hammer the object down, the hydraulic pressure will force it out after a few hits.
Some methods that you use as a professional mechanic every day, you feel quite normal yourself. Not professional mechanics sometimes can't get out of the amazement when they see how to fix the most difficult problems with sometimes the simplest means.
I use the tape hack routinely, and I like to have the sticky side of the tape facing the socket. That way you don't need to reach in and grab the tape.
Nut setters are still my favorite though.
great video thank you i now know more hacks, the one with the tape and socket i have used many times my father taught me it, now sometimes i use magnets inside the sockets, the flat kind that fridge magnets are made from, you buy them at the craft stores , very cheap cut to shape you need and place in the socket and it works very well, i work mostly on old Volvos and it has been a big help in the hard to reach areas or places you can't see 👍, more of these videos would be awesome
double wrench trick was not the strongest opener, but the rest of the video is very good! keep up the good work

Deburring tool / burr-removal tool is the one you showed taking the hard edge off the cylinderdeck edge.
Gute Hacks ein paar kennt man natürlich aber man lernt nie aus gerne mehr ! :)

Nach dem Bohren des Zylinder ...mit ein 45 Grad Meißel die obere Zylinderkante überdrehen. Hat mein alter Motorenbau-Meister vor 20 Jahren schon gemacht. Somit werden die Kolbenringe beim einsetzen der Kolben in die Zylinder geführt.

That $10 tool is a reamer if it hasn’t been said already! I use them in the electrical trade to ream conduits and other metal bits or plastics that have a burr!
I use the tape hack reverse. The stick side goes into socket. So that when you pull socket out, tape will not remain on the bolt.

For hack number two, you can use a piece of a paper towel or shop rag if tape is not available. 5:13 That would be called a de-burring tool auf englisch.
We call it a deburring tool,great hacks the one with the tap I didnt know great short vid.

Hi Andy, what tool do you use to remove the AVCS Intake and Exhaust Cam Sprockets? Everyone here in the states uses the Company23 tools, but imo, it damages the Gears inside..
