I just saw them Wednesday night and OMG I love them. Have always loved them. They are my all time number one favorite band and I just learned that Justin plays mandolin. I knew he played sitar, but had no clue about mandolin. Blows my mind. Can anymore talent come out of one body??? Oh yes, just a little more---he's a phenomenal guitarist but NOTHING compares with his beautiful voice which lulls me to sleep nearly nightly.
I just discovered your great cover music. I always liked the Moody Blues (saw them live in UK over nearly 40 years ago), and now I am just learning to play banjo and next month going to TN. What I mean is everthing comes together. Thank you.
This music is proof that any song can be transferred into another category, faithfully, not in a mocking parody, but as another interpretation, with basic bluegrass instrumentation. It should be an example to us all, that no song has to be performed in a certain fashion, with no modifications. This is the sort of variation that all musicians should be of a mind to consider in the endless world of options.
Really nice arrangements and decent harmonies! What's great about this, is that it doesn't sound at all like a parody, but rather its own interpretation! Bravo, Moody Bluegrass!
I prefer this version... Makes me think of sitting by a campfire under a tree, cooking soup in an old tin, the sky midnight blue, in the middle of nowhere.. *sigh* Sometimes I long for the simple life but alas my brain gets all the fun.
On a certain level this almost works better than the original. I think the emotional tone and the lyrics of this particular song are in many ways more appropriate for country and bluegrass than for the prog rock genre.
Words cannot express their beautiful rendition of such a classic.
This transcends very well from rock to bluegrass. They did this music justice.
I bought this CD years ago when it was released. What a gem!
Heard this on one of my Pandora stations. Love it.
once upon a time, once when you were mine. I miss you babe. Hope your having fun in heaven
Good job, guys. I can feel your passion. Greats from Poland.

Yup. Classical musicians did it all the time. Rachmaninoff, for example.
So beautiful ❤️

that's because it is NOT a parody

I love this song
brilliant!!!
The MBs were one of the most underrated groups ever. They should have been inducted into the Rock HOF a long time ago and not just recently
Love it! (The bird looks like it's smoking a joint :-) )
I IT! Truly FANTASTIC!
Wonderful!!!
Really works well.
This is actually really cool
Amazing!
Wow, this is great!
In case yall don't recognize that voice it's Harley Allen
Harley grew up in Dayton, Ohio and lived in Nashville Tennessee until his death.
Great!

The tempo is slower. It works very well done that way.
