And it's not just a pleasure cruise...just sayin'...you wanna go fast, you can go fast. I always like to say, "You do you", no need to compare ...wanna ride two wheels, then ride two wheels, wanna ride three wheels, then ride three wheels, want to wear ATGATT, do it, don't want to wear ATGATT, then don't. Life is way too short to care so much what others think. Glad you are loving your Spyder so much, Adam!

For me, IMHO, I noticed that I was having some balance issues with my 2-wheeler. For me with age, comes wisdom. (My wife may debate me on that point.) I have always been pro-active in my life. I didn't want my confidence (or lack of) to become a factor in my riding. The Spyder is more stable, not having to worry about gravel or cut grass in the curves and not having to balance the bike at stop lights. Sometimes I will get silly I will.........
Put on the parking brake at long stop lights and..... stand up and do the Robot, the Mashed Potato, or even the Twist digging to the tunes. Just saying.😊🙃
The safety features on the Spyder are great. ABS, Traction control, stability control and the best feature, it has a geared reverse. Sweet!

Don’t think there is an age to ride a Spyder, anyone can ride young or old! Take no notice of what people say just go out & do your own thing, as long as you’re enjoying it ! There are so many septics out there who look at 3 wheels is degrading to the motorcycle world! I just say if you haven’t tried it then keep your thoughts to yourself! Yes life’s too short to care what others want you to do!

I have a ryker and got it at 61 Ace900 2021 now 63 , its a bit modified ( ok a lot) I made it comfortable for me , I don't travel more than 3 to 4 hours away , love it either in the country or the city ( Montreal) its coming out of storage next week and cant wait ...still cold and raining here. I had motorcycle until 50 and then because of not making the time did not ride until 61 when retired. I might move to a F3 next year since I am looking at taking longer trip across Canada . I squeeze my lemon of life and ride to have fun and with this Ryker I really have fun and enjoying my riding at this time of my life. New to your channel since I did see CB3 last episode and got your channel. I do listen to music also via my Sena , Trying a cardo on a new helmet this year . Just added a GPS this year since I want to explore new road. Have a great ride and enjoy your time riding ...that what I love to do ..............Alain & Yellow

Right there with ya brother. My Spyder RT Limited is perfect for me at 57. Had lots of other bikes, and this is what's right for me right now. Safety, comfort, family, physical condition, it's exactly what I need to still ride and love it. No counter-steering, no leaning, but hey the wind still blows in your face and you still get all those great sensations when riding with friends.

For me, I also have a low back injury. I tried to buy another big cc V-Twin bike and it was just too heavy for me to pickup and maneuver backwards out of parking spots, etc. I really enjoyed my years on two wheels, but I needed to find a more comfortable solution and something where my wife could 2-up with me. I considered a Gold-Wing trike, Harley Trike, and other conversion kits but the truth of the matter is they are all conversion kits except for the Harley. I didn't want to have to worry about finding parts for a conversions rear axle down the line or something like that. Then I considered how the two machines would corner. I still like to ride the twisties in the mountains where I live, and a conventional trike just wouldn't corner good. So I started leaning towards a Spyder more and more. Then I rode one and I just automatically knew I had to buy one. The dealership I bought from was a little over 2hrs away on all hick roads, and when I got home my back didn't hurt a bit. It was then I knew I made the right decision. I'm currently 47 and I don't care what other people may think, I know this is what is right for me.

You’re exactly right. I feel more visible and my wife likes to ride with me. What else matters. On the headset, we ride with a spyder club and the majority of our friends have Senas so that’s what we bought. The mesh feature works great for that. Thanks for the videos, really enjoy them.

I had a 2007 Spyder for a while. I was very lucky as I sold it for A$7500 which was nearly what I paid for it and found out later on that the head gasket was on the way out and had to be replaced. I told the guy I was sorry about that but he said not to worry as he pulled the motor apart and rebuilt it for about A$400 and it was as good as new. I loved everything about it, especially the reverse gear, except for the belt drive. I used to love taking it down dirt roads and was always worried about it breaking. If I could afford another I would get the Ryker, with it's shaft drive just for that reason. As I can't afford one and my knees aren't as good as they used to be, I'm getting a sidecar fitted to my 82 Honda VF 750 Magna. I've had sidecars before so it won't be anything new.

That was a strange question about the right age .for me it was when was the right time.i had a few bikes in my life but for me it was when my wife said i will never ride with you unless you get something I can ride and hold up and feel safe and is easy to learn .so i got the cam am RT limited and we ride all the time.i don't have any health problems that I know of.if I would have known 10 years ago about the Spyder I would have gotten one.i just think they are really safe, nice looking Three wheelers also the wife and I have never like Harley's two wheeler or 3 wheelers and I don't care for the gold wing trike I really believe the Can-Am Spyder are just more safer and better priced for what you get and I love the total reverse gear .Im not knocking the other 3 wheelers and I ride with them at time but for us it's just our preference.we just love to ride regardless of your bike choice.

Thanks Adam, I have been watching loads of TH-cam videos and reviews on the Spyder icluding Coachbob and many others.
I don't see any negatives apart from some people like to use a clutch and handlebar brake also the fact the you can't filter in traffic like a two wheeler. If those are the only real negatives then I think the Spyder is going to be the one for me. The only thing I need to do now is go and test ride one and then buy something. Kind regards, Mike.

When you go around a corner a little too fast and hit some sand and your rear
end swings out... it is at that moment you know why you are on a spyder.
Yeah you may get looks from the 2 wheeled folks, and that's fine. I straight up tell them that 2 wheels scare me. And if I am perceived as a beta, I will confirm that I am also a horrible lover and will at that point just drive off with my ice cream cone. I think honesty is healthy.
I actually get a lot of people wooting and giving me signs of approval while on my F3. I know that 2 wheels gives off that rugged cowboy free spirit vibe and I totally appreciate that. Me, I feel like Darth Vader in a Tie interceptor on my all black base model.

You know what's sad about that age question? You cannot think of another recreational vehicle were that question is asked go ahead I will wait, it seems it's only for 2 types of three wheel vehicles trikes and spyders not slingshots, Morgans, T-rexs, Vanderhalls etc etc. It's sad that this thought comes mainly from the two wheel mc community with a emphasis on anyone riding a bike that rythmes with "Barley Gavidson" 😅. Rarely will you find a two wheel mc rider ride reviewing a Spyder and not elude to at some point two things #1 how weird it is to ride ( it's not weird IT'S DIFFERENT duhh) and #2 this statement or similiar which is "and who is this for? those with disabilities, too afraid to ride a "regular" mc, too lazy, the elderly, women etc" as if it is mc blasphemy for a perfectly healthy 35 year old to be riding a RT. You are correct on ALL your points sir congrats on your new ride, stay safe and keep those knees in the breeze. 😊👍🏿😅
