18 months ago, I lost my middle son to horrible homicide, my husband, his step dad (aka pops to him), was there n is still here. He has been my rock from the beginning of all this craziness, n he is still standing tall. From the morning of finding out my son had passed, calling my other 2 sons, to calling family n friends, helping making the arrangements, to helping me heel, knowing it's a long long process. I sing this to him all the time. He just let's a tear roll down his each n smiles at me. The smile says it all. I couldn't ask for a better man as a husband or a Pops for my son's.
This was my girlfriends ringtone for me. Before that I had never heard it. One night I surprised her by singing this song to her karaoke night at a local restaurant. With a packed house and nervous, I just let it fly lol! At the end of the song, I explained to the crowd that although I felt she was my true soulmate, I would never be able to make her my wife. This was a shocker and a surprise to everyone, especially of course to her. I then held her hand (while she was stunned and I still could lol), went to a knee, pulled out a ring and said "but if she would grant me the pleasure, it would be a great honor if she allowed me to make her my queen. Being that my (now our) last name is King, it seemed fitting. There was not a dry eye in the place, especially mine lol. This is a beautiful timeless song that will always be special to us and a part of "our story".

This was my grandpa's song for my grandmother. He made family members play it everyday for her the days leading up to his death from cancer. The biggest regret I have is that truthfully I only knew the man for a week, maybe two. But that being said, he made quite an impression.
