That sounds a lot like symptoms my mom had. Why couldn't they diagnose it for her? They said she needed a ton of anti psychotic meds, while not even knowing what was going on with her. My sister just died of it in January. It was very difficult to get a diagnosis at first. It is rare but in my opinion it is getting more common. My sister was 60 and suffered for 5 years. I heart goes out to any who has a loved one dealing with it. It is hell and robs you of your life.

Toward the end it became very rapid to the point of her not even speaking anymore. Very sad thing. Hugs to you! It's very tough to watch, with nothing you can do to help. Sometimes i think brain diseases are the worst.
