- I’ve had this helmet for about a month.
It felt bulky at first. But it wasn’t as noticeable on the road.
The BOA fit system did feel a bit harsh on the back of my head.
Not bad for a helmet that has integrated mounts for a light and good for visibility on the road.
At the store I was told the rear light bracket will break if removed. Wrong. The tab does look that way. Like you show insert the bottom tap and let the magnet hold it in place. Then push harder and it will click loudly when attached. The magnet just holds it in place until one secured it. Have a light attached provides more leverage. But hey later if I’m wrong I’ll attach a tether.
I did the same thing with the rear light thing 😂 My red piece inside is like that as well . Loving it so far . I have the lager too, I just tighten it down , the shell should move thats part of the new wave cell all if them I tried did the same . And when I was trying it on I asked the bike mama get and he said the same .
Try adjusting the tab where the strap weaves through the back of the helmet. That should lift it off your glasses.
just curious what size is your head ? I have the same problem how the shell moves, I think I'm going to get something else. I do love the helmet otherwise.
I didn't like it. I have the starvos, which is the cheapest. The starvos is the cheapest because it has the limited wavecel protection, it ends just before the back of the head. Exactly like this one. This is just the starvos with an adapter to put the taillight.
The idea of a light mount on the helmet sounded cool for being seen on the road. I’ve had some comments from people in cars how nice the light mount is on my helmet.
@Henry is Vegan I agree, but the Charge model has this same device for placing the rear headlight, but unlike this one the wavecel protection wraps around the entire head including the back.
