The Ogre story reminds me of how most of us would feel if we got to know animals such as cows and pigs and saw that they are individuals just like cats and dogs. Many of us would stop eating them and exploiting them.

Many years ago, on vacation, I met an old man by the sea. He wanted to go kayaking. He was a kind stranger with no one to go with. So we took a kayak from the hotel and paddled out the reef. We got baked by the sun so much so that I was sun burnt through my shirt, but we finally made it. We then took turns swimming so the kayak wouldn't drift away, past the reef where the sea looks like all hell is breaking loose. Afterwards, we paddled back and there were people and hotel staff looking for me everywhere all in uproar. My friends thought I was missing. When I told the hotel staff that I, this 15 year old girl and this old man paddled to and from the reef they looked at us in disbelief. "The reef is two miles from here. It only looks like it's close. You just paddled four miles!"

this is my story: once there was a girl who had the most wonderful childhood she could wish for and a loving family, but as she grew up, she developed many struggles and insecurities. bad thoughts were also going through her mind at that time. her pain eased after a while, but then a very close loved one passed away right at the same time as the girl was told about her stage 3 scoliosis. this scared her very much and caused her more hard times as the two things hit her. that girl is now trying to make the best out of everything she has, trying her hardest. this is an unfinished story, still developing. rest in peace grandpa

She appreciated it a bit, but I'm realizing I am glad I actually tried my best and put it all on the line regardless of the outcome.

The soles of my feet were blistered and bloodied from walking, From searching to find someone , something , that was missing.. ..something that hurt me, a long time ago.. I found it and i did not know it... ...so i fought you when you crossed my path. i thrust my long sword through your heart , ...and when i pulled it out again I died... ...because your heart and mine was the same... and i got to see it.. My story: During recess back in the 4th grade when all the kids hung around the swings, a girl decided to jump off (without reason) at the peak of her swing and landed face first into the sand. The end....
I love horses and hardly ever got the chance to ride. My uncle owned horses and sometimes, before I was a teenager, we'd drive the two hours to get there and he'd let me ride in the paddock. Years later, I was galloping in a field at a riding ranch, felt myself lift in the saddle and flew over the horses head. From my left side over the fence, I heard my uncle yell, "Tuck and roll!" He wasn't there, I hadn't seen him in years. I did as he told me, I wasn't hurt and was very proud that because I still had the reins, the horse stopped and stood instead of dragging me. I never told anyone but he saved a world of hurt.

The first story was such a good life lesson. She was smart in not marrying him. It was painfully obvious that sometimes love just isn't enough. It's better to remain single than it is to marry someone & be miserable having to move to a place, permanently, that she didn't want to move to. Smart & strong woman!

My story: I had best friends for 4 years. We were like sisters. I thought I could trust them with everything but I guess I was wrong. They stab me in the back for no reason. They knew that I had fake friends in the past and they started to be just like those people. I was shocked. They told me that I was never there for them, that I didn't want to listen to their stories and many more things which can hurt. I was sad because I defended them for so long and they turned out to be just like what others said. I was always there for them even if I wasn't in town sometimes. One of them had bad time in her life. Her parents got into a fight and her dad kicked her and mom out of the house and they had no idea what they will do or where they will go. I was the only one who offered her to stay in my place. I cried everyday because she was sad. I was there when some stupid boy was mean to her. I was always there and she just doesn't appreciate that. And she chose other friend. And before that she was in my house saying that we will always be friends no matter what happens or where we live, that we will not let other people ruin our friendship and many more lies. She also said that she is not happy because that friend (that she chose). The worst part is that all what I did was give. Now, with the other friend, she does things she shouldn't be doing. But I guess that is life. I will not waste my time on them because karma is already doing her job. Since they tried to hurt me, only bad things have happened to them. P. S. I speak other language so if something is wrong I am sorry
If you give the best that you have, be proud of that. Don't let the recipients get you down. Don't trash them or sink to their level. Be proud of yourself and walk away. For then you truly ARE better. Some people grow up and grow strong. Some people just whine and take. Walk away, don't condem them, just do what you need to do to grow past that trash. Live a clean, happy, wholesome life and they will never cross your path again.
This story is based in England on Christmas eve. A little girl traveled the streets with a book of five matches. "Sir will you please buy a match so I can eat." The man refused "Miss will you please buy a match so I can eat." She refused. The sun set and it started to snow, the little girls hands started to feel like ice and she was tired so she sat down on a step and unable to deal with the cold struck a match. When she lit the match, in the warmth she could see a pair of shoes. She reached out and grabbed them and covered her bare feet and felt warm. The match went out and to her disbelief she saw shoes on her feet she struck another match and infront of her lied a hat she took the hat and put it on her head and felt warm. The match went out and the hat still laid on her head. She lit another match and there lied a coat she put it around her and felt warm. The match went out and the coat was still wrapped around her. She lit the fourth match and before her was a marvelous feast and she ate and felt full. The match went out and she could still smell the Turkey dinner. As day broke she lit her last match and before her was her mother, her mother told her to take her hand. She took her mothers hand and felt her love. Her mother told her if she wanted the little girl could come with her and she would never feel cold, hungry, or alone again. The little girl closed her eyes and nodded. The final match went out and the sun hit the girls face as she walked off with her mother into the warm sun light. And indeed she never felt cold, hungry, tired, or alone again.

So, a boy in my class he's like really small and short so he jump off the swing and hit on a coconut tree. He was like legit flying for a second.
