Wow. Nice job. So I noticed that if I take copilot seat, look at pilot or out front/left that wherever direction copilot is looking will be saved when switching back to pilot perspective. And vice versa. Also works with crew in back. So check it out. Button 2, look at pilot, hit button 1. Copilot should be looking at you. Keep ‘em flying. It’s a great Navy day. Just played 18 at Mayport NS. Home of the 4th US Fleet. The DDG’s that got the Houthi drones are back with drone silhouettes on the ships. Pretty cool. Many ships in port. Littorals too.😊
@@Adalla yeah, but the tail landing gear might be the most poorly designed thing I’ve ever worked on. Also the cockpits are digital but otherwise it looks amazing!
@@flightmaster1213 I'm curious, is the tail gear the same design as on the Bravos and Foxtrots? I was never a helo guy but I was around in the air wings when the Romeos and Sierras first started deploying and found it interesting how the Navy went with the long wheelbase tailwheel on the Sierras. I'm assuming it opened up more interior volume for missions.
@@scullystie4389 on sierras most of the avionics are in the tail, on Romeo’s it’s right behind the pilots on both walls. The tail wheel has a large gland nut that allows the strut to be locked, but the pin is on the inside and the actuation is slow. So pilots break them all the time and I gotta crawl up inside the tail to beat out a broken lock pin. Also the gland nut can sometimes back off and break the pin that way too.
