Hahaha. Been a 'professional' SB player for over 20 years. The game/sim can do so much im still learning things after all this time. I recommend you throughly explore the map editor and the mission editor, you can create some real fun there....! I do love blasting pickup trucks with a LAV.......
Nice! Coming from DCS, which has pretty powerful mission editor with ability to do scripting, I still found the SB Mission Editor even more powerful, at least without scripting. It's a bit dauting to be honest for a new player. The fact that SB has a Map Editor blows my mind. in DCS you have like 8 maps and that's it. Granted, they are like hundreds of square Km. Very cool that you can create your own maps, though that must take forever...:D
@@Adalla Its not unusual to spend months on a map depending on how detailed you want to go. And scripting and playtesting a scenario can be days of work. If only you can get this in DCS, playing as a ground unit leaving a base and escorting a convoy. The level of detail in the tank is mind blowing. I think this would be awesome for people that want to play ground units in DCS. Maybe in the future it will progress towards it. (Wishful thinking 😂)
@@Stagga345 my wish exactly. I started with DCS and still try my nest to like combined arma in DCS, but the depth and AI is just not there. You can, it's called Combined arms, it's module you can buy and play with tanks and other ground vehicles, act like spotters and such, the tanks might not be as complex as in SB but you can very much play as a tank.
@@Adalla Do keep in mind that it is extremely hard to simulate everything well.
