Scorcher isn't leaving anytime soon, and it's a really good stand-up coaster due to it being the smoothest of the tradditional stand up coasters in opperation. It still has a couple of years left in opperation as it continues to be popular amoung guests.
Personally I think it would make sense if Darien Lake stayed in the Six Flags chain. While they may not own the property. It is however really accessible from Niagara Falls as well as Toronto. There is also the benefit of the hotels and resorts on the property as well as the concert venue. There is also potential to boost season pass sales if Darien Lake and Canada's Wonderland are in the same chain.
As a Great America local, between Demon and Flash, I'd say Flash is more likely to go as not only the park has more attachment to Demon and Wrath saved it, but also i think its the more expensive one of the 2
Demon can still go as running out of parts and it’s not that popular never long line. Plus they removed rocks and it’s old. V2 staying as last in last couple of years it was repainted and re-themed so think it’s good.
@ true but great America one of the top parks that’s land lock and demon takes up more prime land then v2 and v2 just had rehab and re-theme and eagle getting track work and whizzer had all new controls installed this year. Demon just had station paint nothing major.
I agree with most picks other than MonteZoomas. They’ve been working on it all summer and confirmed it will open in 2025. Unless plans have changed in the last few months
I could see some parks remove more than one coaster in the next few years, for example: Canada's wonderland, along with Flight Deck and Time Warp, it's rumored that The Bat and Dragon Fire is also on the chopping block. Magic Mountain, besides Superman, it could be a trio with X2 and Viper. Also Six Flags isn't afraid of getting rid of flat rides too like the recent announcement of Carowinds Drop tower and Screamweaver being removed along with Nighthawk (although I wish it was Vortex instead). My home Park Darien Lake, if they decide to keep it in the chain, the only coaster that I can see being removed is Motocoaster as it's been down a lot this past season and it's in an odd area of the park. Interestingly enough I recently looked at the park map and I noticed that the Intimin River Rapids ride which was supposed to be removed removed a few years ago is back on the map again and also a waterslide that was supposed to be removed (along with the Giant Wheel) was repaired and operational this past season.
What I find interesting is that you said Poltergeist at Fiesta Texas would be the one to be removed but didn't mention Flight of Fear at Kings Dominion for the same reason plus it doesn't fit with the new direction they are going with Jungle Expedition. (though I see Kings Island keeping theirs).
Not Gemini! I always try to get a ride on Gemini when I go to CP. It's still a good coaster, and not many coasters have the racing aspect. Though Gemini isn't the most popular, usually a pretty short wait. Fun fact: it was Arrow engineer Ron Toomer's favorite design
as a canadain i think both our parks need more coasters la ronde just has two good coasters vampire a bnm invert and golith a bnm hyper and canadas wonderland we just got three bnms behemoth leviathan and yokon striker alpin furry looks like its gonna be a good one though cedar point is my fav six flags park i find the coaster lineup for solid then canadas wonderland i think wonderland should replace flight deck and time warp with a bnm invert coaster and ad some more bnms and ad some rmcs
Kbf, I can see silver bullet or the coaster that ran thru Monte's loop going first over Monte, and there working on it now, plus they got a new loop. Was reading a lawsuit is what delayed its refurbishment and the original refurbisher was fired off the project. SFMM superman or teen tians may be next to go. Rumer is Elitches may be sold soon as well but no one know who.
I’m trying to figure out which Six Flags park I can enjoy in January 2025! All park passport should be cool! Six Flags website isn’t too user friendly in regards to winter operations! Of course Magic Mountain is open
Their site is terrible. Basically you have magic mountain open on random days (definitely check because they are closed random weekends) fiesta Texas is an option, they are open I think most every Saturday and Sunday all year. Other than that I’m not really sure that anything is open in January
I hope Cedar Point gets rid of Top Trouble 2 (cost, noise, space, reliability), rather than Gemini. If we set aside Gemini's age, it's difficult to imagine a more perfect coaster in terms of its audience range, thrill level, and capacity (especially if the park would go back to 6-train operations, retrack the final helices, and really spruce up the area). In other words, I'm not sure that Cedar Point understands what type of business they are in. Their job is to deliver memories/nostalgia with corresponding marketing, not sabotage themselves by trying to perpetually outdo "records". Records have diminishing returns, downhill in my opinion since Magnum XL200. The true path forward is to lean into nostalgia... to look toward the rightful, timeless indigenous stewards of the land- and build a legitimate future that is based upon true history, rather than fictional history.
Kid flash is being removed from SFOG
They can probably replace the LIMs on the premier launchers with LSMs. Fiesta Texas recently upgraded the queue line for Poltergeist
Not sure that it’s possible to switch from LIM to LSMs
@@BeachcliffStudios It is! California Screamin used LIMs and swapped them out with LSMs when it became Incredicoaster!
Interesting information as always. Thanks 😊

We’ll see what they have in store for it. One thing we do know is that the chain is set on cutting off some parks
@@BeachcliffStudios Oh big time!

Definitely more expensive off the two and they did save demon so it very well may be safe

@@michaelhutter2160 They could always get parts from CGA and other Loopers like Carolina Cyclone ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@@michaelhutter2160 I think Demon has sentimental value for the park tbh, not like it needs to become like Great Adventure or Magic Mountain

We know they keep teasing it to reopen but they have for years. I really hope we’re wrong because it was a fun, unique experience.
Man I sure hope you are right about Invertigo... But I fear it may be The bat.
Nice video, the new rumor is that The Bat at Kings Island might be the one leaving soon.
Say it isn’t so……!!
We heard a little something about that but we’re not buying it as of yet

We thought that they wouldn’t get another coaster removed anytime soon but you’re right, the KD FoF is definitely out of place at the moment
its not going away atm :) Last year/the2024 season they did fix all the effects, lighting and audio systems for FoF at KD

I'm gonna say that the superman clones might be on the chopping block at some point since they cost alot to maintain
You mean the flyers or the ride of steel?

Get rid of Corkscrew CP !
We’re not against that but we feel like cedar point doesn’t have much reason to.

Zero percent chance they get rid of tt2 over Gemini
