I have trouble with the basic double kick in the main riff (in the intro), I can't seem to nail it! And that is probably one of the easier parts!

I too am experiencing this, I just cut out the second kick on every other beat, makes it a tiny bit easier to get used to imho.

Fantastic lesson for a fantastic song I've loved for 20+ years! These are awesome drum fills. The placement of your ride cymbal is very interesting. Is that your normal placement or just for the demonstration of the fills? I've started thinking out of the box a bit more about set up. Keep up the good work!
