Hi ladies! I am a stay-at-home mom, so I practically live in Comfort where but that doesn't mean I don't want to look cute. Many of the comfy Fabrics when pockets are added it only creates a frumpy look. Wish designers would eliminate pockets in these areas, like in my pajamas or loungewear who's putting anything in their pockets when they go to bed? LOL! And some runs so deep that I cannot figure out whose arms are that long? LOL! I see the need for a pocket but I prefer them in my hoodies or layering tops instead, especially if I'm trying to balance out my appearance.

Love the haircut Kelli! I don't care for a front tuck on my body, but finding shorter sweaters/tops is so hard these days, even in petites. I do tuck in when I wear a jacket. Shoulder pads really work for me, as I'm very narrow and sloping in that area. Tailoring clothes to fit your body is the best tip of all - if you find a seamstress/tailor that is good , hang on to them!

A crewneck and/or mockneck turtleneck are great for those of us that have a long neck. It also really frames the face.
I have a long neck but also have bigger boobles. High necked things make me look like my whole torso is boob.

For some people with a petite frame, like myself, wearing a crew neck actually draws more attention to the neck. A deeper neckline doesn’t elongate everyone’s neck. My neckline can easily get lost in a deep neckline, especially if that neckline is wider than my own neck.

It depends on the length of your neck. I have a short neck and can’t wear crew necks, even tho I do love them I’m 5’2” and weight 135 so I’m not skinny either 😂

I am still learning how to dress in consistent cold weather. Wearing a soft, fitted turtleneck with a fitted or loose cashmere sweater and then jacket/coat, you will keep the heat inside your body. I wear the bulky stuff if I am just staying home.
It is just crazy but that front tuck on tunic tops makes all the difference in a current look and a frumpy look. Keep bringing great style!

Love the new hairstyle Kelly! I often get my clothes altered to fit properly. So I've never been a print person & I especially do not like small prints. Eventually that will be "off trend" & on trend will be large prints. I had a gorgeous dress in H.S. in the 90s & it was a long sleeveless A-line style dress with one large rose print on the bottom left of the skirt & it was stunning! So classic (for a highschooler) and I wish I could find something like that again!
Yup, small prints are in now, but at 54 and 5’4” I tend to stick to solid colors. They dont go out of style.

My figure is on the straight side; I have some, but not great, waist definition and my shoulders, hips and legs are narrow and slim. (This mostly from being so short-waisted, my ribcage is nearly sitting on my hipbones, plus some middle-age waist thickening). I so agree that a little structure, like from a blazer with a waist, or a belt over a dress, is really flattering. Small shoulder pads help, too. Anything that gives the illusion of a smaller waist is great. Structure is a gal’s best friend. (Because I must have comfort, too, I prefer knitted blazers and trousers that have a little elastic, at least at the back of the waist - these have the advantage of allowing comfy sitting, but tightening back up upon standing, to look trim and not slide down my skinny hips).
