The reason this happens is because floating point (decimal) numbers are limited and are more compact around 0 (more decimals), and less compact the further out you go, eventually it starts skipping whole numbers so that's why your movement on the X axis stops.
there is actually multiple Nil Zones, one of them is where you go so high up in the roblox game that everything becomes flat, how to get there I have no idea, a hacker touched me after going super fast and I just became a pancake, funniest thing to happen to me in a while.

In the mantissa's precision. When we increment the mantissa - make it 1,611,393 - and do the operation, it results in the value being 5,000,000.5, so the precision is half a stud. This happens all the time to me in Build a boat for treasure, I piled like 200 tnt and blew it up and within like 5 seconds the game went really disordered. (Also happens when I use my kimakaze plane)
2,000,000 studs away from spawn is enough for it I guess, but there is gonna be so many glitches with it so I suggest building the game in an area where the game slightly glitches

There was a glitch in jailbreak where if you clicked the enter on a car too fast repeatedly, on mobile, it’ll send you in and out of the car super fast and it will sometimes try to put you inside objects repeatedly, when you are going in and out of an object, it will keep trying to move you outside that object and eventually, it’ll panic and when you get in the car the next time during the glitch it’ll send you in a direction so fast that you can end up accidentally going to the part of roblox where your avatar becomes invisible. Another less effective way is to use the parachute and click the enter button a few times, you get sent not as fast, but you NEVER stop.
Y'know, when I was playing find the little guys, I actually found this out. I touch the "cube of death" and flung me millions of studs in the air. And I started to look like a bunch of triangles after a minute
in royale high, it’s actually possible to fling yourself something like 5 million studs out by using something as simple as a shark floatie in the ocean. the devs know about this bug, they just find the glitch hilarious so it got to stay!
I remember playing those old building games, I would have two rotators spin in different directions while connected to the same brick. Then I would jump on the brick and It would send me straight up so far into the far lands that I couldn’t see my character anymore. 11 year old me found this hilarious
This just happens in every game. The "farlands" isn't a really special place. Its just you're so far from the center, reality in the game engine just starts breaking down. Due to you being so far from the reference point (that being the center) This can be mitigated, and outright fixed with some solutions.
I remember old admin games having a command callld ;badlands player that would basically fling you millions of studs and you had to reset or else youd just be stuck flying
I used to reach it because subatomic tripmine had completely insane knockback in ripull minigames, and since it also did no damage, I'd use it to fly into space. Sometimes I reach super far distances unintentionally. I think the farthest I got before I was bored was when I was legit 5 triangles.
Going WAY far enough outside the barriers of roblox being stable your camera can only move in one axis (only x axis, y axis, or z axis depending what axis your breaking), and a few more billion studs (or something) the skybox will start to flash back, then when your somehow going beyond that the roblox classic rocket launcher explosion sound would play and you would die, not being able to respawn.
Roblox needs to upgrade their game engine. It’s practically impossible to make big maps unless you scale it down and doing that is inconvenient. They demonstrated that they can fix this from Hack Week years ago but I wish they would actually implement that! Roblox could have so much potential if only their floating point issues weren’t so bad compared to other engines
this has been around for a really long time. There’s an easy way to this vertically in the game Plane Crazy. Just build a massive rocket (ensuring it is symmetrical and has a sensible centre of mass) and send yourself upwards. The furthest I went was about 2.7 million studs before my internet went out
This happend to me in plane crazy (roblox game), I had helium blocks and they were infinite-ly accelerating blocks and if you put a chair on it, you can go up to REALLY high heights at REALLY high speeds. And it would just be the equivalent to minecraft pixels.
I once did a glitch in build a boat for treasure and my body looked like a shape that was kind of a triangle + square + rectangle all messed up in different places. I was like 10000000 studs away from spawn lol. It was like 10 seconds into the 20 million studs.
What if i told you theres somthing worse than 20 mil? I remember a gravity game where i then fell out of the map and DOWN to the sky. After bieng there fir a few hours my avatar at the end was just a triangle or 2 appearing every few seconds. Beyond that point tho.. idk what there. Its too far out.
Some facts the nil zone this glitch is a case of your avatar breaking due to being to far the null zone is just the kill point in a certain location often -35 studs
nil zone and null zone refer to the same thing (the floating point rendering error) and neither of them should be used to refer to the kill point (FallenPartsDestroyHeight) which is actually at -500 on the y-axis unless changed in properties. idk where you got these supposed facts from but they’re incorrect
The game I really enjoy playing on Roblox, called Project Smash ever so often occured when I got hit ot just flang, I would go from spawn either upwards or sideways, more than 3,000,000 studs. I probably was more further though. Still don’t know how and why.
so i been playing roblox since around 2007 - 2009 dont remember exactly my 1st account was but back in the day you would get voided but wouldnt always die ur character would disappear but would shimmer into existence and u couldnt even reset lol pretty sure u would jump up to 500 million studs instantly lol and just keep accelerating
I've been to around 20m studs and I'm just saying. Blocks weren't blocks anymore. Nothing was literally not itself anymore. Everything was pixelated and so distored the blocks would look like random things. My character would look like a little white man, I really couldn't tell what was what. I was just flying off into space and still going with no end in sight.
By this scale of "studs" by a game buy in one of the games called "war tycoon" I got yeeted to somthing woth of 20 000 000 + studs my charecter was invisble

Fun Fact:You can see this effect in Pilot Training Flight Simulator (PTFS),specialy from Greater Rockford to Orenji.
based on your description of the RBLX Farlands. I’ve definitely ended up there on multiple occasions
I see this pretty often, whenever I get flung into the sky this happens
For those who wonder what happends if you go further let me tell ya.
Nothing. There is nothing anymore. Its just the void.
A lot of people call it the nil zone in this common section, but it’s actually referred to as the null zone
except it’s really called the floating point zone because there’s literally no reason to call it either the null zone or the nil zone

@@gudmansal3468 thanks for correcting me
that sphere is suffering Xd
The wedge is to powerful
Some facts the nil zone this glitch is a case of your avatar breaking due to being to far the null zone is just the kill point in a certain location often -35 studs
@@disrespecc9678 it’s the same thing
nil zone and null zone refer to the same thing (the floating point rendering error) and neither of them should be used to refer to the kill point (FallenPartsDestroyHeight) which is actually at -500 on the y-axis unless changed in properties. idk where you got these supposed facts from but they’re incorrect
The game I really enjoy playing on Roblox, called Project Smash ever so often occured when I got hit ot just flang, I would go from spawn either upwards or sideways, more than 3,000,000 studs. I probably was more further though. Still don’t know how and why.
As a farlands walker, I have decided to drop the journey and start walking to the rolands
so i been playing roblox since around 2007 - 2009 dont remember exactly my 1st account was but back in the day you would get voided but wouldnt always die ur character would disappear but would shimmer into existence and u couldnt even reset lol pretty sure u would jump up to 500 million studs instantly lol and just keep accelerating
Wow, I love these experiment videos. I've always wondered if there are end of roblox map.
You Can actually do this easily in build a boat for treasure
once I got flinged so high up my character was only 2 triangles.
Roblox fastest vehicle is good to show how distorted roblox can get when your so far away
hacking and flying to the null zone was when i first found this out in like 2018-2019
Yeah, I remember this I used to do it in 2020 a lot and found it funny
The parts after reaching 20 million studs away :
Circle : ☠💀
Cylinder : ☠☠☠☠☠☠☠
Wedge :🗿
This is no longer a cube, it is now a parallelogram...
TO THE MOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNN
underrated channel, good content btw
I remember when stuff like that would happen when you got flung
By this scale of "studs" by a game buy in one of the games called "war tycoon" I got yeeted to somthing woth of 20 000 000 + studs my charecter was invisble
That happens in many games in different ways because of the integer limits
5:04 the sphere looks like that one yellow ncs songs circle
this would be a cool feature for a horror game ngl
every build a boat for treasure player know what this is like when using the angel wings jetpack and eating a small candy then holding space
dude i joined the game and went to the max distance and the music gave me an extremely sad vibe 😭
It’s crazy that in every single 3D game in existence has a null zone? even shit like ultrakill
Welcome to the world of floating point numbers
I once got flung so far away that my character turned into a laggy cube.
