Yeah or there is some connection in the brain area that allows someone to bend and he blocks that with blood bending. I don't think Chi blocking is part of it though. He always had to touch the forehead and its doubtful there are any chi points there, at least ones that can be stopped by hitting it right since its basically all bone.
@@digitaladventurer2142He touches the forehead to imitate what Aang looked like when he did it.😂 It's definitely a form of chi blocking but sort of like the reverse of when and got his chakra unblocked by the rock.
Also, Amon knew Tarlok was going to blow them up, he felt his brothers movement and he was tearing up. But everyone doesn't know what ever happened to them after this season, it was mentioned briefly in a later season about what ever happened to amon.
General Iroh is like 35. Hence him being a general. And looking much older than them. Look at his body frame and look at Mako and Bolin. Also he is Zuko who is around 86-90 grandson.
32:47 Keep in mind that most Avatars aren't even told about their identity until they're 16. Aang was only told early (12) because the monks feared an impending war and wanted to begin his training immediately. There have been exceptions like Korra who demonstrated their ability to bend multiple elements at a young age, but even then it doesn't mean they'd be able to immediately enter the Avatar State.
Yeah Korra just kinda got a cheat on the spiritual training. If you remember Aang had to train with the Guru to gain full control over the Avatar state. Normally thats how it goes. There is a brief time after they master the 4 elements where they train to master the Avatar state. This was largely done since this was supposed to be the series finale.
Guru Patik said it best really. The swirling pools of energy in the body keep a person’s bending flowing. A certain…..thing unblocked certain chakra points based on the element they represented and Amon simply closed it right back up again. He mudded the “waters” blocking the energy flow. Another example of it happening more naturally would be Aang and Zuko. Briefly, neither could do firebending well at one point. One was blocked by fear and the other by lack of drive or reason, but they got it back. Thanks to the original firebenders, they rediscovered their truths and got their energy flowing again, which is what the different original benders do. Animal guides guide the people >,> ngl, that last bit was for book 2 haters but I’m trying not to spoil 😅
I understand why the writers did it this way since they thought 12 was going to be the last episode, but I still think wrapping up the season with an open-ended conclusion where Korra doesn’t get her bending back but starts her spiritual training in earnest so she can would have been more interesting than having Aang show up and just give her everything back (and the Avatar State)
I’m excited for season 2, but mostly bc your reactions are great 😂 two parter and on it’s pretty good though IMO. Season 3 is gold, season 4 is silver, all way good. I really think you’ll enjoy how all the characters stories end up in the end Cara.
Ffs, yeah Mako is 17. And 8 years before this he saw his parents killed in front of him. Maybe...just maybe that's why he reacts so emotionally violent when faced with losing Bolin or Korra to the equalists? I'm one of Mako's most verbal haters when it comes to how he (mis)handles his lovelife, but his attatchment to Korra after she was kidnapped makes perfect sense.
I’m not even really a Mako hater, I just mostly feel bad for Asami. Mako is a badass bender, but he’s also an orphan from the streets, and yes he saw his Parents murdered, that’s insane. How would he know how to act? Plus Korra was a secluded Avatar focused on bending, with no friends except Naga, how would she know how to act? They’ve learned nothing from no one 😂 it’s just me understanding why they act I guess, but I do agree it’s too much. I also like what they said about how Korra should have taken that moment for herself when she got her bending back, instead of I love you too….
SPOILERS: There are plenty of reasons to give criticisms to season 2. Firstly, the plot suddenly shifts mid season, and a lot of unexplained stuff happen in the last episode, like Kora becoming this massive spirit giant for whatever reason. Another major issue is the spirit world is just turned a place with "good" spirits and "evil" spirits instead of being mysterious, unexplained in ATLA. Finally the idea of a spirit laser beam battle simply does not fit into the avatar universe. Overall these are my main reasons why I personally didn't like season 2, there are plenty of more criticisms to be had, but listing them all is impractical.
I don’t believe Amon was changing genetics… I think the idea was that he was permanently kinking something inside people’s bodies that blocked their chi… like the chi strikes, but permanent due to bending structures inside the body. Great reaction as always though! 👍
I know the writers were setting up a storyline with him and Korra, so I doubt that. If Zuko had a child late in life and that child also waited to get an heir, General Iroh could be in his twenties.
We struggled getting this one out due to copyright but finally here is the finale of Season 1!
I'm glad it's out, been looking forward to it for days.
I really do love your vids ❤
When Korra was standing on the ledge, she was considering jumping so a new avatar could take over.
Ppl like u are so funny to me .. yall just make shit up .. there’s ppl like u in every show I watch tho don’t trip
@Gspmitch so smug about being so wrong, that bit is implied and isn't made up.
@@mantasa0000 fan theory never confirmed by any writers
@Gspmitch because it's so obvious, it doesn't need confirmation. Not everything in the world is spelled out
@@mantasa0000 lol “because it’s so obvious” like I said people like u are hilarious

Not close but to cut the connection

Loved loved loved season 1's writing but season 3 exceeds all expectations.
Asami is the best. Always getting the shirt end of the stick but remaining positive and productive.

Childhood is settig up the dominos, I'm just not sure when they are toppling, or when to pick up the next pieces to stop the chain

Plus they’re teenagers, that alone makes you do stupid things 😂
People tend to be negative towards season 2 for no good reason but theres some great surprises to come!
Well it was rushed like the other seasons and that does tend to lead to bad storylines.
I believe they were also using a different animation team for part of it so it looks a little off on some parts

Hey, thanks for the reaction! Hope you're not going to drop Korra on the second season, I'd really like to see Cara's reaction to season 3(and 4)
