For some quick context, assuming each unit of energy is one joule, and that the numbering system used is the short scale, not the long scale, by the time his energy production gets to 1 octillion joules per second (or 1 octillion watts), DF’s power production is roughly 2.73 times that of the sun
I think that DF has two computer set ups, one is for his clicker games or games he can leave alone for a time, and the other is for more involved games.
I tried playing this game today and discovered that at some point around saturn you can upgrade your clicks so much you get like hundreds of decillions per click, then use an auto clicker and it crashes... lol
If an idle game breaks after only ~1000^20, then they might have used a single float and gone from the minimum positive value of 10^-38 to the maximum 10^38, with some room at the bottom so it starts incrementing by 1.000 instead of 1.175. That's the only way I can see float infinity so low. But who even uses single floating point numbers anymore?
It's Programing language, referencing how the devs chose to store data. Most programing languages today are robust enough to store huge amounts of data on the norm, and computers can handle it. Some can "optimize" so to speak, by only storing data in a 'byte' size container, and it scales up. So 'Int' short for Integer is a container, 'float' short for floating point number is a container, and so on. Each has a maximum positive it can store, and a minimum negative it can store. A 'byte' for instance can't even store negative numbers.
Programming language can use only limited amount of memory to store numbers. If number is too big for that amount of memory, it jumps and rolls all the way back to minus numbers minimum.
Jeez, this game looks generous. Cookie Clicker’s first two buildings take a base level of 150 and 100 seconds to pay for themselves. The Saturn upgrades range from a base level of _13 to 30_ seconds. You could get pretty far just from a rule of “if the cost is more than 100 times the production, don’t buy”.
I use 2 auto-clickers,they are kinda old,but they still work. :) One is called Key Presser and the other is called Autelic. Autelic is simple,it's using F7 and F8 as left mouse buttons. F7 is for 1 click and F8 is for double-clicking. Now Key Presser is a little more advance and a lot more auto-clicker. But combining the both is much much better. :)

Hey, if you liked this game, you should check out SPACEPLAN. It's sort of like planet clicker, except you're directly affecting the planet, and it also has an actual story line. (Side notes, although the browser version is free, if you were to play you should get the steam version, as there's actually a lot more story and some interesting mechanics, plus better graphics. Also, if you play there's a good chance that you'll need to leave an autoclicker on with the game running for a few hours, because there are some choke-points in the game.)
DF vs GSP DF: -Plays to break the game, if lives suffer it's a bonus -Amateur Numbers GSP: -Plays to cause suffering in lives, If the game breaks it's a bonus -Rookie Numbers

Another wonderful video, great job!!! If you wanna play another idle game, would you play tap wizard 2? It’s pretty fun and it’s a great way for me to pass time!
I think it’s worth noting that you were doing the math from million to billion like it was 10 times more but every step is actually 1000 times the previous one. So especially early on it was even crazier than you thought. For example a quadrillion is 1 million times 1 million
Man, it's so crazy to see you playing these.... I've been hitting up crazygames hard recently because it's one of the few websites I've found with idle/click games that work on my chrome browser, on mobile.

I swear half the games DF plays I end up trying out just to see what it's like to play them with a proper strategy. To be fair, that's usually what LGiO videos cause me to do too.
I've never seen an idle game lose steam so quickly. Usually it takes at least... 3 or 4 prestiges before you completely brick the game. But this one didn't even need one.
I remember playing this game on my phone after my cat just died, because I could not sleep. Bit of a bitter aftertaste, but really enjoy your video anyway 🥰
DF and VitaminDelicious is like the same creator, Vitamin wakes up europeans at 4AM and is very sussy. Vitamin grinds games alot and so does DF but vitamin became so sussy he got shadowbanned.
15:00 4.6 quintillion, x1000 is sextillion, x1000 again is septillion, you're on about 2 septillion per second, so for anyone interested (lots of approximations but eh who cares), you'd need to click around 500,000 times per second to double your energy, so no it won't actually add up at all compared to your total XD
If you have a logitech keyboard with G keys you can set a G key up for a one mouse click repeat function and you won't have to wait for any residual clicks to finish, just let go of the button. If you want to leave it on while you walk away, just put a small heavy enough object on the button while you are gone.
Ahh DF's voice is so calming. I watch all his videos twice, once to sleep too, and the next to actually watch and enjoy the chaos.

I was just about to comment asking his auto clicker and then he answered me. He really is a wizard
For perspective, the pressure generator on Saturn generates slightly above 1/60 of the price of the entire universe per second.

How can a clicker game be so entertaining with DF?
It took him way too long to realize that the upgrade that doubles output was the broken one. Has he never heard the penny on a chessboard story?
It wasn't broken before he discovered the other planets.
That moment when you break reality because you're so rich...
Nothing like eating sausages with bread and cheese then returning to my den to watch DF destroy things 🙂
