  • So it begins. Going forward I'll be posting Live Looping covers every week. These are not meant to be the highly polished and overproduced covers you often see. They are rough around the edges and imperfect just like you and me. These are recorded 100% live straight from the looper and unmastered. I'm currently using Quantiloop on iOS until the #bossrc600 arrives.

I'm more familiar with Grace Jones's version (NightClubbing is an awesome album) than I am Bill's. Either way I really enjoyed what you did with it. Great groove, great voice.

Thank you for the kind words! I’ll check out Grace’s version. I have not heard that one

@@JoshElliottMusic Grace has done some surprisingly good music; that album is immaculately produced and features Sly & Robbie. "Walking in the Rain" and "Libertango" are my favourites on that album.
I've got another suggestion you might like, which is Big Muff by John Martyn.
      Have fun!

Hey man I love your looping arrangements! Just got a headrush.... what pedal are you using to tune your guitar down for the bass?

Thank you! I was using a Boss OC-5 in that video. I have since switched to a EHX Bass9. Worth checking out!

btw, what in-ear monitors are you using/ would you recommend?

I think these were an old cheap pair from Amazon and also a cheap wireless unit. I would not recommend going cheap because there seems to be a lot of interference and the fit is not good. I have not invested in custom molds yet but just recently bought these and they fit and sound pretty nice. KZ ZS10 Pro, Linsoul 4BA+1DD 5... www.amazon.com/dp/B07QKYTGH9?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

@@JoshElliottMusic Ah yes a good programme I’ve also ordered my RC 600 but apparently only arrives in 2-3 months. No idea why they launch things that are not available

@@JoshElliottMusic well I sent the Headrush back with faulty switches so currently I have the Aeros Looper and I also use the RC 500 both amazing units. However sometimes I miss the layout of my RC300 and am tempted to buy a spare second hand one until the 600 is launched.

@@wallacenock7423 I was SO tempted to buy an RC-500 just to use until the 600 ships. I owned one before and it’s a solid little unit. However I’m also beta testing the new Loopy Pro so that’s keeping me occupied.
