I'm about to start a PhD but I also want to get pregnant very soon. I was sad by thinking that I had to decide whether to choose the adventure of the PhD, or just drop it and start the adventure of being a newly mom. But after watching your video, I got amazingly surprised that, if you can manage to have a family of almost 5 people, it's because it is possible to make it... I guess it's just a matter of choice. I really hope you can continue to make videos and, if possible, give a few tips for those (like me) who have this crazy idea of combining a PhD with motherhood... and thank you so much for your video!

I had both of my babies who are 11 months apart while doing my Master’s. It was super hard because of pregnancy brain but my God I survived and got 5/5 GPA for my thesis work. Also got my paper submitted. I honestly felt like a super Human

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am a single mother of two wonderful teenage boys and I am heading to UCI to start a Ph.D. program in the Fall. I was nervous about it but seeing you being a supermom while juggling school gives me hope.

You are amazing, much respect. As a single PhD student myself, I usually find myself procrastinating a lot given the pandemic and then complain not having time. I really should learn from you.

GOSH...... I’m almost tearing up because im watching my life here!! Im in an intense nurse practitioner masters program. My kids are younger. That’s pretty much the only difference! Oh and I’m pumping a lot of breastmilk while studying and running around. It’s hard to balance it all but I do believe it’s worth it!

Michelle Fowles Ceva I’m watching this as a RN with a toddler but wanting my graduate degree. She still wakes up in the middle of the night, I’m not sure if I’ll handle the lack of sleep. You ladies are an inspiration!

Thanks for sharing and congrats for your babies. Questions : what time do you wash dishes, go to the market, clean house, fold and iron clothes, make payments of bills? How many hours do you spend with you little children per day? How many hours do yoy rest? How many hours do you spend working in your research project? :(

Hi Sarah, thanks for commenting on our channel. I know you are just starting out on TH-cam and wish you luck. One bit of advice, you should probably avoid dropping self-promotional links on other people's channels. The links go straight to spam and could cause you to be blocked.--Tasha
