@@LukeKCD thank you so much bro i appreciate it. I didn’t completely understand until near the end of the video when you demonstrated all three points of contact 🙏
What about your anti wheelie system? Does it mess with you? Have you tested it? I'm just Curious if you can race without worrying about the bike looping.
I’m not gonna lie man… I didn’t even know there was an anti wheelie system on here lol. I always keep my bike in sport mode though. Don’t know if that matters. I know what you mean though, it’ll power up without the clutch still no problem 😅
@LukeKCD I have the same bike. I might need to test it out this spring. I haven't been able to ride that much. I know we have wheelie control, lean angle and anti slide. What number is your bike? Mine is 198
@@vincenr100 yeah man so ready for winter to be over. Getting out and messing with it is the best way to go for sure. And I’m at work now, I’ll have to check when I get home but I think my number is somewhere around 1140?
2nd gear will power up (30-45) no problem with or without clutch and 3rd (40-55) with a little coaxing. It’s all in practice and I’d suggest the dirt for all who can start there. (A dirt bike is cheaper than medical bills though) 🤘 However good video overall.
Agreed, lol absolutely learn on something cheaper. I’ve never been a fan of power wheelies. Nothing against them. I feel you can clutch it up and be upright in a lot lower rpm’s to have more room to play with it. To each their own though 🙌 I definitely know some bros that prefer power over clutch. Good call man!

Seriously this instructional is the best ✊ Especially for someone who repeatedly caused accidents in step aerobics overthinking which leg they moved...was it left? Do I move my left or go to my left? ? BUMP! Shit... sorry. Wait she is walking towards me, do I travel in the same direction or walk towards... oh fuck...so sorry! Left spin right, over the step... fuck I'm facing the wrong way! While I am at it, who the fuck invented the bloody grape vine, I literally tripped over my own feet!
I second that! I currently have a 2021 MT09. Wheelies are very easy and with the wheelie control on makes it really good for someone who is starting out doing wheelies. I just really like his bike. I have been looking at them bikes more, love the sound also!
@@LukeKCD I love it so far cause I'm not the best on wheelies on this bike but I can actually ride a wheelie in the first 3 gears and it doesn't allow you to go past 45 degrees so you feeling safe about not looping the bike. Plus the quick shifter allows you to stay in the air and it's a smooth wheelie. I'm wanting to take it to the dragstrip next year and see if it helps cause I know with wheelie control on it does cut power of the bike. Wish you lived near me I'd let you take it for the week and do a review on it compared to your bike! I watched a guy race a FTR in Orlando Florida dragstrip on vacation and it was pretty fast. I love the look of your bike and the exhaust is awesome. Stay safe brother and keep videos coming!

Curious about the technique, I've tried pretty hard to get it to power wheelie in 2nd and just have no luck
I prefer power ups also seems like more control but that video is nice
