I never regarded Silvertabs as for skateboarders. Some styles were baggy, but a lot were not. My favorite were the black relaxed style. They were made from heavy high quality denim and were superior Levi's.

Cool information. A couple years ago I picked up a Levi Strauss and Co Original Jean Varsity jacket that's been just sitting in my closet and haven't worn it much. Everyone always talking about the red color tab but my jacket has a Black tab with white letting on it on the bottom of the jacket by the waist

Wow, what fascinating content, I was lucky to do a quick Google search and find your page. I just bought an acid wash Jean jacket on eBay and I thought it could be original 80s but wasn’t sure. I was excited when I saw it had a brown tab. What is this mean? Whomp whomp, you said it it came from Kmart Walmart in the 80s lol. It’s actually in beautiful condition and I am so happy to learn that it is from the 80s. Sad to learn it from Kmart 😂

I have a pair of Levi's "tailored for men" corduroy pants with white tab/blue letters.
Talon zipper so I have them dated as 70s but not totally sure

It was used in the levi's for gals quite often, and i think is now currently used in Levi's Made And Crafted i think.

Does anyone know a Levi’s model/collection that has a small patch on the back pocket with the Golden Gate Bridge and a Levi’s spell out? It’s dark blue with primarily gold/yellow and red lines. In the arches on the pockets were also doubled and flipped. I saw it on a quilt someone made, and I’ve been trying to find it ever since. Thanks!
I believe it’s a pair from the late 70s. I believe I’ve seen a few matching that one that we have dated to the late 70s early 80s
White Tab, star button, 560 cut almost with the taper. I know about the chords but i found a pair without that were just off white. Whats the story? Why does the button have a star and the fits are straight out of Video Days.
