I think the best thing in your videos is not just your obvious passion for food, but your utmost respect to all the different cultures you get to experience. That is something i hold in high regard. Keep it up.
Mark is making his and Micah's mark upon this world...utmost diplomacy, honor, grace and respect for all cultures... he shows. Your wife, too, is the pillar of it all ... she stands! Go Wein family.
Mark Wiens that 1st bite of takoyaki it's like you're friends make a frank of you✌ and that laughed by hungry tourist kinda awesome indeed 😂😂😂 Loved you're vids. Just curious mica and yeng are not around
True! I discovered him Nov last year (I think) and he had only 600k+ subs then if I remembered it correctly. I love Mark! He's the reason I'm a TH-camr now haha
Mark's Tokyo food tour with David together just got to another mastery level. They are mostly common street foods but Mark could get me feel like they are luxury foods. The underground bar is also exotic. Thanks!
It's really nice seeing someone so respectful as a tourist. A lot of us Westerners can be so rude, and you definitely always leave a good impression on people and hopefully make us look a bit better. My city is touristy and bad tourists are just so frustrating. I imagine Tokyo gets hit hard by it.
Enjoying this tour with The Hungry Tourist and Shinji a lot! Shinji especially looks like a really friendly person! I had the same experience with Takoyaki. It was piping hot, but that is when it's perfect.
The Hungry Syrian Wanderer I knew it! The way you taste your food has a spin from Mark's patented reaction. I see your comments everywhere bro. Rice Terraces trek was really lit!
that's the way youtubers are supposed to do out of courtesy to those guiding and paying for them. Truth be told, the bartender guy was rude af but for viewers and his fishy guides, Mark has to pretend to have enjoyed everything :)
Francisco Liawi//yes of course he has to fake it even when the food is not quite good because a considerable part of his Japan trip seems completely coordinated by some organization sending some weird folks accompanying him (basically, Mark Wiens can make a lot of good videos on his own but in his recent japan videos he seems to have no freedom of choice as to where to make his videos...you have to ask yourself why things are going on this way). If somebody or some organization pays for your all travel expenses and then isn't it a common sense that you have to do something for the person or organization in return? :)
It's not much of a stretch to say that the bartender didn't speak any English. For him, he was making out a bill while the foreign tourists and their handlers were speaking English to each other on the way out.
The coolest thing about this new Japan series is that you guys aren't just hitting up the high end joints, you're actually going to attainable food venues as well hahaha love it ... I also haven''t seem Mark smile as much before lol
when I was over in Japan in the Marine Corps, a couple of the guys and I liked to go exploring locales, and hidden gems. Found a public bath that was AWESOME! And one time, just followed neon arrows that led up some steps into a corridor and ultimately to a door. It was an apartment converted into a bar. The lady who lived there simply enjoyed our company and talked. She would make us food, etc. She also used to be a singer. She showed us album covers of her and her band, and would play her music. Wonderful experience!!!
Awesome video as always mark, ying& Micha!!! Love your videos always in a positive mood, sending you lots of awesome energy and great vibes from your home country the good ol USA!!!
Looks like a fun evening! Great food, great people.... It is kind of weird that Ying is MIA. We get so use to seeing both of you. Much luv from Atlanta, GA.
You'd be shocked at how clean some of the neighborhoods are. The streets of the last place I lived in were spotless. Littering is frowned upon and typically a little old lady is sweeping the area in front of her residence.
Aww was Ying & Micha taking a break and staying in tonight. I sure miss them when not on your video log. Food looks so tasty, thank you for sharing, I appreciate watching from BC Canada
gyoza is definitely one of my favourite Japanese food alongside with sushi, salad and bento. during my university era, i used to eat deep-fried gyozas as the skin was golden brown and crispy. anyway, i am looking forward to eat the freshly handmade gyozas! if you still love dumplings, you can go to northern China like Xian and Beijing to try them out since dumplings are the staple food for the northern Chinese alongside with other wheat-based food like steamed buns called mantou and noodles. they either steam, boil or pan-fried their dumplings as well.
Mark u r so good , I love ur videos and I love ur explanation about the place and food . Last but not the least I love ur son he is soooooo cute . be happy always Mark .
Hi Mark, thanks for this clip... I didn't know what you eat but still I like your way and the food look good.... Hope to visit Japan one day... Thx... 🍸🍻
Hey keep up the great work, love your videos and places you go. It's good to see good people enjoy life and the things they do. Stay positive much respect 👍😊
I like these cool videos of small specialty places to eat and drink. These are so different from what you find in the U.S. not to say we don't have them just not streets lined with them.
Waaaaaaooooouuuuuuuu I have give the 100/100 score on bar person whomake a crystal vlear ice & tasty beer. I like it Thaks my dear mark And also thanks hugry tourist david & tokiyo team

I'll welcome you when you come to Tokyo!
"Thankyou very much" said Mark to the bartender and the bartender didn't even make a move and Mark still said he's a friendly guy.
that's the way youtubers are supposed to do out of courtesy to those guiding and paying for them. Truth be told, the bartender guy was rude af but for viewers and his fishy guides, Mark has to pretend to have enjoyed everything :)
J Wilson so hes faking it? but it wouldn't surprise me if hes faking it because there is nothing special except the ice is perfectly shaped lol
Your more concerned about that and left out the fact that the bar was amazing site to see.
The coolest thing about this new Japan series is that you guys aren't just hitting up the high end joints, you're actually going to attainable food venues as well hahaha love it ... I also haven''t seem Mark smile as much before lol
