This show really disturbed my mind for a day ( like you said, I had to stop watching the show after Javier shot the flare xD), but hearing Javier talk and seeing the positive feedback that comes towards Javier and his/our values kinda helped my mind to find comfort 😄
You're a sympathic guy and even though I don't watch any gaming content, I wish you all the best on your YT journey😁🍀

The way he just fought for dignity is something I deeply resonate with especially being someone who had to deal with the same kind of bullies a lot of times in my life. Reflecting on it later... this show is a great example of why, in real life, people need to be able to defend their property and/or police need to be fast and criminals need to be punished convincingly (not rewarded for bad behavior). Like in certain cities, where people can't defend their homes and businesses, and criminals are repeatedly set loose to do it again... Jill and Amber quickly realized (no self defense + no punishment = they could be monsters). It's very traumatizing for store owners and tenants who've been threatened and robbed JUST LIKE THIS to see it on a TV show.

I didn’t watch to see psychos like Jill and Amber being evil to people. The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing,”
Javier, you were the only real strong man in the show with a big heart and integrity. Yes, this was a perfect social experiment.
It's not enough to be a good person. One must be brave to defeat the evil.
What I find astounding, is when Justin came to join 'Charlie' he was rejected, when these (weak & spinless) men found out he sabotaged the Alpha's tarp - ''they morally couldn't align'' with Justin's action and rejected him subsequently, oh, the irony!!
But they quite happily watched Jill & Amber stealing Delta's sleeping bags and watched Javier being attacked by these despicable (literally) evil women and did nothing but rejoice. 'Charlie' also rejected Javier as 'it would upset the group dynamics''.
But their morals were content to invite pure evil Jill into their group after witnessing all the destruction she caused.... Didn't 'Charlie' also snatch 3 crab pots to weaken the other groups when they only needed one to satisfy their needs? Where were their morals then?
It's abundantly clear that should we have food scarcity, humanity would reveal itself.. and it won't be pretty.
Brilliant show, that shows human wickedness, weakness and cowardice in all its glory. Some obvious, some disguised-ugly nevertheless. The only man who deserved to win was Javier. He is a true gem and one I would want on my team!

One change to the show should be more structure. That’s the reason Amber and Jill went rogue (or atleast how they tried to justify it) because without structure there’s no telling how long they would be out there trying to out survive each other.
It wasn’t clear from the begging that there would be a race at the end to determine the winners. The rules of engagement were never quite explained to the audience.
As far as showcasing the survival skills and not the drama the show needs to set up more challenges and competitions that rely on survival skills.

Once the gym coach noticed they'd have another mouth to feed and he could use any excuse so he can't join their team just shows how little survival experience anybody had on this show.
