I am LOVING spending my mornings with you doing our makeup together. Such a great start to my days!! I appreciate all the effort it takes you to get these videos out. My mornings (and makeup application) are better because of you! Thank you!!!
Thank you so much!! It makes me so happy to know that on the other side of my camera I have you and others that are getting ready along with me every morning that I post my videos. This is so special to me knowing this. I am so glad that your days get off to a great start getting ready with me!
Hi Julie....i have had the foundation for a few months and just bought the serum tint yesterday....only just launched in Australia with the serum tint one this week....typical!! We are always so late getting newer stuff here Anyway i was excited to see your comparison video....look forward to trying it tomorrow. I was kinda hoping it might be less dewy looking...we shall see! Love your beautiful Southern accent btw... hope you have a lovely Easter! Take care...Lindy
Thanks for doing this comparison. I have the skin caring foundation and have been curious about the skin tint. Now I know I don't need the tint. Thanks again!
I’m enjoying watching you glad you’re back! I think I would like the serum and I have an elf palette with similar colors as soon as you showed it I ran and got it out for comparison 🥰
You're welcome! I am so glad to be back and making content for you guys!! Yes, I have also been enjoying the serum tint slightly more than the foundation!
Julie, you create such beautiful eyeshadow looks! I have been enjoying your channel so much. I have the Rimmel palette, and I love mine too. You have inspired me to revisit forgotten loves in my collection, and everyday I look forward to seeing what you are going to do next. Have a beautiful and blessed weekend!
Thank you so much!! I am so glad to hear that I am inspiring you to dig into your makeup collection and rediscover forgotten loves! We all have so much makeup and sometimes forget how good some of our older products are. I hope that you have a beautiful and blessed weekend too!
Great wear test! The held up really well. I LOVE the serum tint. My skin really agrees with it and it lasts all day and i dont use primer. The rimmel palette eye look you did was lovely and spicy.
Hi Julie, In my opinion, the Revlon Illuminous tint looks more natural. I still have the Rimmel Spice Edition in my collection it's a dupe for the Urban Decay Heated palette. I ❤ the smoky eye look you created. Thank You
I really like my Tarte Shape Tape Glow Wand for highlighter. It's a liquid and comes like a concealer with a doe foot applicator. But I have put it on top of foundation and also on top of powder and it doesn't seem to disrupt my foundation or anything. I know it's pricey but I just got the travel size because I know I will never use that size up and the full size would defiantly go bad before I could use it. I just use a little bit dabbed on my finger from the doe foot, tap my two fingers together and apply it with my fingers to my cheeks, tip of my nose, etc. If I just use it by itself it's a subtle natural glow with no glitter, but if I want more glow I just put a powder highlighter on top. Loved this comparison video! I will have to check out those foundations! ❤
That is a really great idea! I have that Tarte Shape Tape Glow Wand Concealer. I usually use it as an under eye brightener. I have the shade Alight. I will have to give your technique with using it as a highlighter! I know it's mostly intended for that purpose but for some reason I was just not thinking of using it for that! lol. Thank you so much for this tip!
Yes!! So glad to hear that you also enjoy the Revlon ColorStay foundation as much as I do. It is truly one of the best foundations out there in my opinion!
I had one those Maybelline highlighter sticks. I completely used it up. I would spread it on the high points of my face and then apply foundation over the top.
To be honest I haven't really tried a lot of pore filling primers. The only 2 that I have ever tried, the Maybelline Baby Skin and the Benefit PORE-fessional. I do remember enjoying both of those and they did help to minimize my pores but I am not sure what some more recent good pore filling primers are.
I didn't think of that! I was just checking out the ingredients between the two on Ulta's website. There are a lot of ingredients so it's hard to decipher between it all but from what I can tell they don't have 100% the same ingredients there are some differences.
For myself I do find most Illuminating foundations to highlight my pores more so than if I were to use a skin finish or matte foundation. I find that both of these do slightly highlight pores because of that fact but I do still enjoy them and I don't find them to settle in pores. I just find these to make my skin look extra dewy which I do enjoy that look from time to time.

Great comparison! I like the serum tint better for my skin. 🙂
Thanks! Yes, I have been enjoying the serum tint more than the foundation as well.

You're welcome!! I am glad that you found my comparison to be helpful in helping you decide if you needed to pick up the serum tint or not.

Woman! This fabulous warm pumpkin orange on you! So fabulous! Have a great day, Julie!
Aww thank you so much!! It is one of my favorite colors! I hope that you have a great day too!

Can you please review the different Ulta foundations?
Thanks for doing this Julie, guess I won’t be buying the serum since I already have the foundation! Great review as always❤

So happy to have found you again. I followed you years ago and you disappeared for a long time. Good to have you back.
Glad you found me again! Yes, I took a 3 year break from TH-cam. Just came back last August.

Great comparison. I thought, could be wrong, that you applied more of the serum foundation.
My holy grail foundation, which I have been using for 30 years, is Revlon Colourstay foundation.
Yes!! So glad to hear that you also enjoy the Revlon ColorStay foundation as much as I do. It is truly one of the best foundations out there in my opinion!
Thank you, Julie! I have the foundation and am enjoying it, so I'll skip the tint for now.
You're welcome!! I am glad that my video helped you decide if you needed to pick up the skin tint or not.

That is a really great idea to apply it underneath foundations! I will give that technique a try sometime, thank you!
Julie, what’s a seriously good pore filling primer that’s not expensive?
To be honest I haven't really tried a lot of pore filling primers. The only 2 that I have ever tried, the Maybelline Baby Skin and the Benefit PORE-fessional. I do remember enjoying both of those and they did help to minimize my pores but I am not sure what some more recent good pore filling primers are.
L’Oréal Magic Base fills in pores wonderfully. Comes in a small jar inside a cardboard packaging, usually off by itself in the L’Oréal display.
You said they're very similar, so I wonder if the ingredients are alike. That would be interesting to know.
I didn't think of that! I was just checking out the ingredients between the two on Ulta's website. There are a lot of ingredients so it's hard to decipher between it all but from what I can tell they don't have 100% the same ingredients there are some differences.
What a beautiful eye look
Thank you!! 😊

I’m so to pick up the serum tint
Excelent, thank you
