A treasure trove of information if you are a TR fan or looking to get into film scoring. It’s true, the score often is pulled back or out and in place trucks, birds, crickets, etc.....and the lack of score volume at times can be heartbreaking to the composer who works so hard. It’s all creative decisions and with purpose of serving the film mostly in control and discretion of the director and producers. Would love to see these two continue to score films.

What a horrible disrespectful comment and insult to make (especially to two very genius minds on that stage) ! It's okay if this woman doesn't understand the depth of these specific musician's lifetime of work and dedication; however clearly has no grasp on how the essence of a film (namely a Fincher/thriller/psych drama film) is firmly rooted in the music that carries it along. If the volume drowning out a pivotal scene is not clear that it's intentional and designed to purposefully make the viewer see and feel a certain way, this woman should have walked out of the theater considering it bothered her so much. Kudos to these two gentlemen for basically taking a public insult to their intense creative work and careers and not giving her ridiculous comments the time of day. An insult to musicians and creative minds as a whole, forget the whole hollywood aspect. In my humble opinion.
