Watch Mojo, I am shocked and dismayed! You forgot something rather important! Because of his cartoon Super-Rabbit in 1943, Bugs Bunny was officially enlisted into the United States Marine Corps. He remained in active duty until he retired at the rank of Master Sergeant.
Bugs Bunny has to be like the best childhood hero one could have. I mean, he was clever, a troll, had the best comebacks and also looked really good in womens clothing.
In the last scene in this clip he sings, "Don't bury me now, - Wait till I die" - very macabre and humorous. Prior to the 1936 all-white version of bugs, named "happy-rabbit", there was an all-black version of this rabbit that pre-dated mickey mouse and shared some of the same characteristics featured in some early B/W cartoons by Walt Disney.
Wabbit is probably the closest you could get to original Bugs Bunny shorts, just like Mickey's new shorts cartoon Mickey Mouse. The Looney Tunes Show was an embarrassment.
Daniel Medina Looney Toons was kinda of an enbarrassment because the plotlines of a few episides were quite hard to follow for me. But it did have good comedy
Bugs bunny is one of the most classic and wonderful traditional animated cartoons with humor only a few people nowadays would appreciate. Big Chungus. I'm talking about Big Chumgus
Something interesting I learned about the line "What's up Doc?" Tex Avery used the line, which was a popular phrase in his home state. He was surprised how well received the line was as the audience was howling with laughter.
Pretty good video, though some things are missing: 1. Bugs Bunny's first appearance was technically in the 1938 Looney Tunes short, "Porky's Hare Hunt". 2. His design for that time is what is referred to as "Proto-Bugs" (considering how different he originally looked). 3. Mel Blanc also did the voice of Proto-Bugs. 4. His personality was also slightly more wacky and over-the-top. 5. Proto-Bugs would go on to appear in some more LT shorts until his character was completely redesigned into the cartoon rabbit that many animation aficionados (young and old) have been familiar with for years. Just some things I decided to point out. Once again, pretty good video overall! :)
@@jamircox8458 it's more like you're living in denial, you say you don't care, but in truth you just don't wanna admit that you're the one who's wrong, also you never once been able to back up your claims, and it's sad that you can't let it go and move on, especially to a 6 month old argument! 😂
I remember one where Porky was hunting was getting thwarted and heckled by a little white rabbit. His character was just like those first few proto-bugs cartoons, so technically that would have been his first appearance
His first appearance was Elmer’s candid camera because he did not eat the carrots but in a wild hare he did eat carrots so Elmer’s candid camera was bugs first appearance
Nick Rise Yeah i'm aware of Disney's anti-nazi propaganda, very well done. It would surprise me, if Dr Seuss wasn't also a propaganda artist against fascism
There's something about his early form that he was drawn in that makes me feel really uncomfortable. I get that way with early Disney drawings too. Hard to explain.

Garth Algar: Did you ever find Bugs Bunny attractive when he put on a dress and played a girl bunny? Wayne Campbell: No. [cracks up laughing] Wayne Campbell: No. Garth Algar: Neither did I. I was just asking. lol loved him dressed as a girl. good memories.
the very end of this video cracked me up lol. havent watched looney tunes in years. the best one i can remember is the bugs cartoon where their are 2 guys shipwrecked on an island. that one i will always remember lol.
Technically that wasn't Bugs, that was Buzz Bunny renamed Ace Bunny and it was BASED off Bugs and the actual character. Remember Loonatics Unleashed was set in the future using established Looney characters as heroes and villains.
She forgot a Bug's Bunny prototype named Happy Rabbit from the 1938 short Porky's Hare Hunt which was a remake of Porky's Duck Hunt which marked the first appearance of Daffy Duck from the previous year. I GOT THAT FROM DAVE LEE DOWN UNDER.
omg so that's what the game is called. I played "bugs bunny rabbit rampage" like a long time ago when I was 4 or 5 on my computer. I'm going to see if I can ever find that game to play it again
Eh, Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse both appeared, at least, twice in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Once during the falling sequence, and then again after Judge Doom got dipped.
I think she was talking to his Looney Tunes debut. Not overall debut. Though counting his prototype era, the rabbit debuted overall in 1938's Porky's Hare Hunt which was an Looney Tune.
I have respect for Disney, but the Loony Tunes always had my heart...

I Love Bugs Bunny
Bugs Bunny was one of the reasons why I was happy in my childhood back in the 90s/early 2000s. Oh how I miss those days & Im 20 in 2015 now

That was a prototype, happy rabbit at the time, so actually the video was still right about Bugs's official debut was a wild hare 1940
@@dakentaijutsu2010 no she was wrong. Bugs Bunny’s first debut was Porky Hare Hunt 1938 Happy Rabbit was Bugs Bunny

Really good origins video of Bugs Bunny. I wish you had mentioned Bugs Bunny involvement in Tiny Toons Adventures.
Technically though, that wasn't Bugs. It was Buster Bunny.
RobinsInSpace
No I'm talking about Bugs Bunny being portrayed in Tiny Toons as a mentor/faculty member to the Tiny Toons cast.
vh9network Ah, I see. They should've had that in it! Unless they will include it into a "Origins of Looney Toons"

Bugs Bunny - Big chungus
I was a huge bugs bunny fan as a kid, loved that darn rabbit.
Also Bugs Bunny originated from a Quale Bird, which is where he got the phrase "Whats up Doc" from.

Hi Mickey Mouse
No his first appearance was Porky’s Hare Hunt Elmer’s Candid Camera was his fourth appearance off so you don’t know anything about bugs bunny

Elmer Fudd
First appearance
Prototype:
Little Red Walking Hood (1937)

Elmer's Candid Camera (1940)
No Elmer Fudd’s first appearance was Egghead Rides Again (1937)
"eeehh,what's up Doc."
Quote of my childhood.
In Elmer's Candid Camera, Elmer was not a prototype, it was his first apperance. He just dressed like his prototype, Egghead.
