I have the same washer and dryer and I love them. I've also had them for a little over three years. I think they do a great job and my clothes always come out clean. It takes a little longer than a vented dryer. But that doesn't inconvenience me.
@@MaryJohnson777 Mine was added long after construction. You need a plumber. The bathroom is on the opposite side of the wall and it drains down the same drain as the sink. So I guess you need a drain pipe nearby, like a bathroom sink or a kitchen sink.

We have this exact ventless dryer. It is ok for drying. We are blessed to finally get so ething in our situation. Like he says it takes a long time to dry. If i accidentally leave clothes or sheets in it they smell bad… and get damp and I have to rewash them. You have to empty the reservoir that collects water…and the filter underneath he shows…and wash it off too. Overall It works a d we are grateful to have it.
To anyone out there looking for condensation dryers, avoid Bosch like the plague! Have had a few generations of them and they are the worst. Electrolux (shown in this video) is better though I hear newer ones from Samsung and LG are improved, and Miele if you can afford it. Bosch 300 and 800 series take forever to dry, warm up the room they’re in by about 10-15 degrees since a lot of heat seeps out, and cleaning the heat exchange on the bottom must be done often- a wet lumpy linty job that makes a mess. They also don’t alternate directions when drying like most dryer brands do so your clothes and sheets end up in a tangled mess.
We rented a house in Ireland for a week that had this type of dryer. It was incapable of fully drying even small loads. We usually let it run for a couple of hours then removed the laundry to let it dry flat. Starting with an empty water collector made no difference. I will concede it was better than the all-in-one washer/dryer we had in Northern Ireland a few years ago. That contraption severely overheated everything, causing it to look like an elephant had sat on it and melting elastic in waistbands. Even after a full reading of the instruction manual, we could not get that machine to work properly. This is the kind of thing likely only found in rental properties. Buying one for your main dryer should be a last resort.
So they reuse the heat. But why does my bathroom still get really hot when the dryer is running? I always have to open a windows. Are vented dryers better at this? I've never experienced one.
Can you recommend any dryers that are 4 cu. ft. or larger that are ventless and are 120v and are not going to break the bank. I need a 120v dryer for apartment use and preferably ventless so we don’t have to worry about venting out a window. Thank you.
The water does not evaporate oh God help us that’s a tank that has to be removed and drained into the sink. I wish these people knew what they were talking about when they describe things. I know he tries his best but speak to somebody who owns the machine first before making a video. It does not take that much longer than a regular dryer to dry. @Nicole D'Antoine No having a drain into the hose or using the container has no affect on drying time I use the container and I’ve had no problems. When I tried hooking it up the other way, the water backed from the washer as it drained I had water all over the floor. so don’t worry using the container doesn’t speed it up or slow it down. sometimes I could do four loads and the container is not completely filled to the brim, I just automatically do it even if I do one load.

@@raylong2215 A condenser dryer is a dryer that you don’t have to vent outside the water it collects while it’s drying your clothes is put into a container at the top of the dryer and you drain that container by pulling it out and dumping it into the sink. It doesn’t have to be drained after each drying cycle you could probably do about three or four dry cycles or loads before it has to be drained. It is not any noisier than a regular dryer.

If it’s a condenser dryer There is no venting it automatically vents into your home it does create heat understand that you will find wherever it is it’s going to get very warm great for the winter not so good for the summer.
I love this idea. In two years there are going to be so many of these broken I'll be able to pick one up on craigslist for less than $100. I got my 2 year old LG washer that way.

So the machine isn't portable in the sense that it's on wheels. The ventless system does allow the machine to be placed in areas where you would not be able to vent such as the kitchen. All of the compact washers and dryers are about the size of a dishwasher to give a point of reference. I have a Miele compact washer (but not the dryer) and you can actually fit quite a bit in these compact 2.4-2.5 cubic feet washers. The dryer should able to handle what the washer can handle. The drying time is longer due to the way it removes moisture from the air. I know that doesn't say how long but it usually depends on the moisture level of the fabrics. If you have the matching washer, they tend to spin quite fast and remove quite a bit of water before going into the dryer.

@@et8893 you are correct , my apologies! this guy is a fucking moron. You can either set it up so it pumps into the washer drain or you manually empty the tray. So to answer your question no the room will not get damp because the water will never evaporate it would sit there until it got full and then the machine wouldn't run because it would know that the collection bin is full and then the water would sit there and get moldy it would take a year for that amount of water to evaporate. I did a bunch of research on these and it looks like most of these are garbage and it's just better off running the 240v circuit. People will also say it saves you money however everything I'm reading says that it cost about $0.40 to dry a load of laundry which equates to about $185 a year. Saving $185 a year to deal with this nonsense is stupid plus this dryer cost alot more. They make a version of this dryer that actually has a compressor like a refrigerator and not that goofy little heat exchanger. It's like $2,500 to buy it so at that point you might as well just have the 240 circuit installed.

As an engineer the ONLY way to make a ventless dryer to condense water and pump it requires more energy than a standard VENTED dryer. Moreover RUN TIMES will be different between the two with the ventelss having to run more requiring more energy at the main electric drive motor to the drum, What are the energy comparisons betweeen both is what should be also mentioned.

We have a Blomberg ventless. No tank, condensed H2O goes into the same drain as the washer. Had it 3+ years, it’s been great.

I think you're supposed to empty it. If not then there's not much difference in just running a regular electric dryer directly into the house.

Water is collected in a holding tank that has a drain hose. Goes into your washer drain.
I’m my case of living in studio it does increase room temperature by 5 degrees.It’s next to my bathroom so just turn exhaust fan on.
