That’s the love of God. Sometimes He wants to make us laugh with Him. He does the opposite of our every thought. Because God’s thoughts will never be our thoughts. And His ways are not our ways. It happened to me. One day, I was complaining to God about how tired I am every day then I will go home with a sink full of dishes.. then I got burnt out, cried with my prayer group and asked them to pray for me to have longer patience over my husband who does ‘nothing’. During that time, he just accepted Jesus as his Lord and Saviour. God renewed my mind and spirit by making me meditate again on 1 Peter 3:1-5. I didnt tell my husband about it snd how I felt. Then after coming home from work, I didnt notice that the sink was clean.. and as we were eating dinner, my husband pointed out that he washed the dishes because he asked God what should he do to get back on his feet little by little. Hahaha i was dumbfounded by what he said and prayed to thank God and felt sorry for if ever I doubted Him. God’s ways are never are ways!,
Let me share my testimony. I had plantar fasciitis for over a year. I prayed and kept believing that I would somday be healed but it got worse with each coming day. After sometime I just got tired and tried to live with the pain. Sometime in 2022 I was at an eveing service with my church @Divine life christian ministry and at this time the pastor was praying for healing and was giving some word of knowledge and i just silently begged God to heal me because i was in so much pain at the time and I just wanted to sit down. Immediately I made that prayer, my pastor @Daniel Anwan said " theres a lady here with a severe pain on your Left lfoot and God is healng you right now". Fam!!! I was stunned to hear that and i had to check my foot if it was really me. It was for me. NO PAIN!!!😮 2 years and still living pain free and sometimes its hard to remember which foot I had that problem. God heals and healing is for everyone. Matt 15:30 Jesus healed them all. Hallelujah
I am 26 and I have been struggling with plantar fasciitis for years in my left foot. It’s excruciating. I have tried everything except surgery (which my doc wants to do). I want God to heal me. I am praying for healing. I am so happy you are healed!
Very glad this guy isn’t an overly charismatic word of faith guy. Seems like a biblically sound view on God’s sovereignty in healing and seems like a genuine healing.
The sovereignty argument is actually not sound. Otherwise, why do you have scripture like, concerning the works of My Hand, command you me. Healing is for everyone and at any time depending on their faith to receive the finished work of Christ. That's why He said that whatsoever you pray for and believe that you have received it, you shall have it. Jesus performed no miracles among his own cause they believed not. Study all the miracles Jesus performed and you'll realise that the pattern of faith is present in all. Remember, by faith we please God. I believe this miracle was to prove to Mr. Duane that Isaiah 53 actually meant what it said. To say that it may not work even when you believe, nullifies very many scriptures and goes on to imply that the word of God is unreliable. BUT also that a person can do everything as God said in the book and He still won't answer if He doesn't feel like. The word was given for certainty and He placed it above Himself. If you don't see results as you ought to, check again...perhaps you're missing something. But the word is not wrong when it says that whatsoever you ask for in His name and believe He shall do. Of course our asking must be in accordance with the word...for example, you can't for another person's spouse and rely on that scripture.
What I love about this story of healing is that what I have learned in the last two years listening and learning about healing is blown out if the water. Most pastors tell you to act like you are healed , talk in tongues, keep thanking Him for your healing. This man was at the end of his rope wanting to die and God healed him. God hears us all. There is no formula for healing just keep going keep believing.
What a blessing! And yes, believers will all one day stand before the Lord with NO EVIDENCE of a sin problem, only because of the blood of Christ. PRAISE GOD!!!

Ps 103:3 says "He heals ALL our diseases." 1Pet 2:24 says "by whose stripes you were healed". I don't agree with Ps Duane's teaching on healing. But I rejoice and thank God he was touched and got a miracle. Praise Yah for His divine touch

Matthew 8:17 quotes Isaiah 53 to prove Jesus came to bare our sicknesses. It's a passage about Jesus healing people. Plus he gave believers authority to heal the sick. The pastor himself was quoting Psalms saying 'who heals ALL your diseases'. So why then say it's not his will to heal everyone, which causes unbelief. Perhaps that was God telling him he was wrong by opening up his throat as he was saying these passages?
He was saying Isaiah 53 refers to God choosing to heal someone in their final glory form in Heaven. Some passages refer to healing on earth and others refer to eternal healing in Heaven
That's what I was thinking... maybe his unbelief that Jesus heals ALL diseases of EVERYONE who comes to him... caused the throat problem. Anyway, what a beautiful testimony. I can relate to being in a pit. I feel the LORD is bringing me out...

See there? God had to show him that Isaiah 53 did indeed referred to physical sickness. If you look at the literal Hebrew translation, it actually says sicknesses in verses four and five.
Also a demonstration of Gods word. See he accepted the illness and still was declaring God as a healer, talking about the Old Testament and new, and how we can’t put God in a box. Well God proved that His written word from beginning to end must not be Misinterpreted
If you watch the whole testimony, this is just a short version of it, I believe the night before he tried to kill himself because he was miserable. He was at the end of his rope, but he had been chosen to give a sermon on healing which was ironic to him.
