I’m documented 15 years late chronic, it’s a horrendous disease. I thought the panic disorder and heart palpitations was bad in 2008, it only got worse. The only medical help I’ve had is because I pursued it for many years and that’s not right. Please, younger generation and parents. Seek a Lyme doctor/co-infection specialist.
I’ve been diseased for so long now in my early 40’s, there’s not much left of me. 💚

Sad to hear our local radio host has likely passed. He always sounded like a great guy.
! Another tip to avoid ticks, aside from NOT walking through wild grasses/shrubs is to CAREFULLY check your dog that may be with you on a hike. They usually will go through places we may not and ticks hide really well on their body AND can crawl off them in your car or home

I got infected with Lyme disease about 22 years ago, after watching a friend of mine go through years of conventional medical treatment using antibiotics that inevitably didn't cure her. When my symptoms began showing 10 years later(there is often a dormancy period before symptoms are noticeable. The symptoms joint pain,, stiffness, constant headache, brain swelling so bad I couldn't firm cohesive thoughts or remember simple vocabulary, constant fever,, night sweats, pain and stiffness so bad in my joints and spine I couldn't even bend down to tie my shoes,or turn my head from side to side and had to roll out of bed every morning because I couldn't sit up,it's really horrible, turning me at 35 years old into an 80 year old over almost overnight. I used Olive leaf extract and garlic as natural antibiotics as well as apple cider vinegar to keep pH levels optimum in my body. As the years progress my symptoms have diminished and I now only have minor symptoms, apparently this is quite common as time passes your immune system adjusts to fight off the infection more effectively, and the pain and symptoms become less and less intrusive and are manageable.

It took me 2 years to get a doc to test me for Lyme!! Docs need to listen to their patients better and not assume anything. I live in south Louisiana and kept having my concerns dismissed. Now the pain is unbearable and I cant afford all the experimental treatments bc they aren't covered by insurance. Most docs have no experience treating Lyme and just keep passing me off to someone else. This disease took my life from me! 🥺

Sorry but their information is really lacking. First, the CDC test is highly flawed and misses at least 30% of cases because it has a very high rate of false negatives. The test is basically garbage, and you can't even reliably test for Babesia or Bartonella since the tests also don't work well and don't test for many strains out there. Secondly, Lyme disease is only one part of the issue, because when it's bad there are usually co-infections, the most typical being Babesia, Bartonella, and Anaplasmosis. Babesia and Bartonella are very difficult to wipe out, and usually cause worse symptoms than the Lyme, and grow fast where Lyme will grow slowly. Antibiotics don't work too well for chronic Lyme and typically for chronic lyme herbal treatments and alternative therapies are needed because it needs to be hit from many angles. Dr. Marty Ross is one of the best to listen to for advice on dealing with Lyme. It's not an easy road. It will be one of the hardest battles of your life if it turns chronic.

And you can’t assume suicide without a body…you can’t assume death without a body especially when he’s only been missing a week. If he had been missing for several years then that would be more understandable…but even then it’s not definite without a body. Many people “go missing” every year but they aren’t dead they just left to get away from their situation and some cross the border into Mexico to “disappear”. There are parents whose children have gone missing and those parents never give up waiting and they don’t assume they are dead…they keep waiting….and there have been some cases where those children have been found many years later because they escaped their captor. But this lady gives up after one week even though his body hasn’t been found over some “information”….information that could have been staged by him. Without a body he shouldn’t be declared dead in this short time…he could be wandering around injured or something.
