Sherry, this was immensely helpful! I don’t know why we feel like we need permission sometimes to do what we know would be best for our kid’s learning, whether it be having the answers nearby for math or letting them play and become mature enough to handle higher level concepts before introducing them. When you share these things with us, it’s like you’re giving that permission from a trusted friend and it quiets all the other silly voices out there telling us to give Caesar more than he’s due. So grateful for you! ❤️ Looking forward to seeing the commonplace books in the future.
I cheat by doing a few math problems in my daughters math book while she’s watching!! 😮 She really like seeing me do them and she learns best that way!!
Sherry I love you so much. Your videos have helped me sooooo very much. I pulled my oldest out of private school after I found a work from home job. She’s starting 1 st grade this year although I don’t like the labels. My 4.5 year old is doing first grade work because he picks it up soooo fast. So they school together. I’ve decided to do year round but we only school 4 days a week 8:30-12 and that’s it. After lunch is the fun stuff like arts and crafts. I prefer a short school day. I cram it all in 3 hours and the rest is play!!!
Oh, how I wish all of your content could be found in one book! I love to write my inspiration from your podcasts into my common place, so I'm here scrolling through the transcript to do that 😛 I had NO IDEA that I have been rendering more to Caesar than what is due!! I am totally of this mentality that I need to buy more to provide a better education for my children (granted I am just starting out, still learning). But God will bless what is already in our hands!!!
Thank you for this! Doing RC, I've been very hesitant to give my kids the Saxon answer keys, even though Robinson recommends it. I think I'm going to train my kids how to use the answer key books tomorrow. It makes sense!
I am always digging for Answer keys/books, and Teacher manuals for books I study. There us alot yhat a student can learn from the TE books that are NOT in the student text.

I know, I've often felt like I needed permission, too!
You are like our homeschool angel!
Can’t thank you enough another fantastic video Sherry. 💛💛💛
Bless you!

@@staciemae44 thank you for your kind words💓 I am working steadily to have more things available to help. A book might be in the future 🤔
We also work alongside with the answer key.❤ It's so much better than wasting an hour doing it all the wrong way.
Absolutely!
Character is so much better than education!!
Amen!
