Thank you, thank you! Freeing and encouraging. As our children grow and become accountable for themselves, we fight for them on our knees and give them to the One Who can guide their steps. We plant the seeds, He gives the increase. I deeply appreciate the time that you give to these videos in an effort to teach what is good. Today, I did my laundry and learned from a wise, godly, faithful Titus 2 woman. Bless you, Sherry!
Walking through tough times with our eldest and we still have eight more that we are raising. This video has been a God sent. It is the wisdom and encouragement I needed for this season and beyond. Thanks for your faithfulness in sharing.
Thank you so much for this. We are currently walking through heartache with one of our adult children. She no longer believes anything she was taught. She is not a believer. We’ve had a decent relationship, but just this week we’ve had to make the difficult decision to not have her be in our lives for now. Please pray for us, but most importantly pray for her salvation. Trusting Jesus is sometimes so hard. ❤ Her name is Christine. Thank you.
Thank you for walking by faith and trusting in Jesus. It gives us the reminder to do the same when we are in the storm of life and can't see what's in front of us But Jesus..and this is a reminder for us all as Christians who want to fully submit to the Lord. Thank you and God bless you.
Thank you!! I agree .. i met a young woman afraid to have kids because she might mess them up ... I believe that is not the case because good kids come from bad families and bad kids come from good families....it is not the fault of the family it is the choice of the individual
Thank you again for another encouraging talk. I had one thought...if it is required to have your children under control to be an elder, it still feels like we bear responsibility in how our children turn out. I do believe we are responsible to train them, but can't control how their hearts will respond to the gospel. But if someone has a rebellious child, does that mean they need to step down from the ministry even though we are not punished for their sins? I don't know if that was clear, but just a thought it was grappling with and wondered about your thoughts. Thanks.❤❤❤
Great question. It occurs to me that the story of the minister with the wayward son answers it. The father did have control of his household because he did not allow his son to live under his roof and be operating in sin. This did not disqualify him as a minister of the Lord. If he had been allowing his son to operate this way while under his roof, that would be the violation and the evidence that he did not have control of his own household.

It's the only way to walk without stumbling. Thank you, I receive those blessings :)
Thank you for adding clarity to this issue that most parents face.

Good points. I've met young people like this, too. It seems it is getting worse the more that therapy is being pushed.
Wonderful encouraging video. Thank you

Plus back in the Bible days they would stone such children. I also wondered about that, thanks for the question and response
