These things rock. I've swapped some of my more common drills for go drills about a year ago (f, 23/64, 13/32) and they take everything I can throw at them. Inconel, 4140, hardened D2(>58rc). You name it it'll do it. Is so funny watching a 1/4" GOdrill plow through tool steel at 250sfm and upward of. 010 per rev like it's aluminum. They also last months compared to weeks the solid carbides we were using.

Hey Titan, I know I Just cant compare your jobs but, I drill Fiber Carbón, about 0.187" thick and I am using a 0.098" godrill from Kennametal, that tool has been in the machine for the past 4 years!!! The same drill all this time, And know what? The Hole size diameter still within 0.002", wow, these tools are great!!!
Also, in 2014 I used to run a DMU 60 evo 5 axis Milling machine, so I ran a 1\2" TX Drill in a 2.5" thick 6061 aluminum, 8000 rpms and about 50 feed, man one shot all over thru the part, like butter, my boss was scared hahaha old times.

I came into this industry and remember when titan and NYC Cnc and such first started making videos and I remember seeing titan have videos being aggressive running parts and I brushed it off like, yeah this old guy is the only person running machines and tools as hard as I do I dont need to see it I do it. Now that I had a little time off I have watched a few of his videos and now understand he has been doing all this for education and he definatly has been making an impact. But I gotta be honest seeing someone through a screen who has run machines the same aggressive way I have , knowing he's educating everyone else on how to do it. Lol I can't tell if it has made me more of a petty hater for him showing everyone else what made me stick out or if its just a gain of respect I have but a worry that I will no longer have little competition with most parts seeing as he's giving away the magic. Either way he's definatly having an impact educating alot of people across this industry because for years I never saw anyone run machines high speed like I did but now it is becoming commen place. Same with the tool technology he's educated people on. Im so petty lol . I definatly am a hater but only because he's achieving what he set out to do.

Great video ! it makes me want to ask , what if you are in a situation where you can't use flood coolant you have to use refrigerated air + a mist of something nonflammable and safe for the environment AND you are under powered so you want to use a powder metal tool steel because it can be made sharper and use less HP . What brand-series drills would you recommend as a , do it all , go to drill ? Also you will be drilling a machinable ceramic like Mercor + a little bit of everything else .

Titan, please correct me if I'm wrong but, isn't stainless brittle? I know it's abrasive but, I was always told that it was extremely brittle compared to normal steel. So, not only going slow due to abrasive properties but, don't you also need to go slow with the brittleness?
Thank you for sharing. Cheers :)

You guys don't talk much about hasteloy do you ever run it? Wonder how well this drill would work with hasteloy? For those that don't know hasteloy is worse than running inconel. I'm changing back rougher and rough bore inserts every 3 parts. 2135 grade inserts seem to hold up the best. The drill we use now is a sumimoto drill coolant through.

I work in a factory in the machining department. (Problem) We run really long drills for deeper holes but we also use that same drill for several other jobs we have one job that we run and it runs a long almost 3'' long drill into 0.005 of inch (I might be wrong) anyways what doesn't make sense is why use such a long drill ( 3" drill ) for such a small distance. What are we lazy or cheap or we doing it because we want sacrifice our ears. Like come on really guys! anyways just something that been bothering me sense 2020. There probably is a explanation for it but I just don't see it.
