@@MoneybagsMelbs He also could've just enchanted his untapped land, since I don't think he has any cards in the deck that care about all his Auras being on one land.

Since you have 2 Sanctum Weavers, and the Forced Fruitition is also an enchantment, you could have casted the Forced Fruitition with the 4 untapped lands and one Sanctum Seaver, and then shocked in the Breeding Pool and let your other Sanctum Weaver tap for 3 mana. This would be enough for a Sheoldred + Forced Fruitition.
This video could be called “Teaching Arena Zoomers About Priority”. The number of people who tried to remove the cards that would harm them, not understanding that will kill them, is funny.
LOL yep because the triggers still occur even when the offending card is bounced, exiled, or destroyed. Stack priority matters here, and those who don't know how it works will quickly find out 🤣 I also use Sheoldred and Underworld Dreams in my decks that utilize Forced Fruition but I take it a step further using Sanguine Bond so they take damage from Sheoldred even when I draw cards, AND I also use Liliana's Caress which makes them lose 2 life for every card they discard, so if they somehow survive drawing the 7 cards on casting a spell, once they realize their mistake and elect NOT to cast further spells they still take damage discarding down to 7 on the cleanup step 😂😂😂
I've had people try to cast removal against the sheoldred, draw 7, stack almost but not quite lethal on the triggers and then panic and cast another removal, ensuring death. I low key love this combo because it punishes not reading cards :D
Back when Forced Fruition was first printed, I made a deck that all my friends hated. Since we were all new, they couldn't figure out how to stop it. In essence, the goal was to have Rule of Law, Forced Fruition, Decree of Silence, Power Conduit and Darksteel Reactor on the battlefield. Rest of the deck was permission and removal. It somehow worked well in my group, and caused quite a bit of angry outbursts
32:14 The opponent in this game had a MASSIVE punt! Turn 3, they could have cast Fatal Push on Sheoldred after the Theater fetched a land, since Revolt was enabled. Based on Seth's draws later, opponent could have EASILY won the game by drawing enough cards and waiting long enough with something like a Ruin Crab to win the game.
Holy shot. This deck is magnificent, it’s the best deck I’ve seen since I don’t fucking know when. I will try to bring this to a PT and destroy the field. The building, the lines, the overall vibe of the deck.. everything is masterfully crafted. It can’t get better than this. I don’t know how you top this deck Seffron.
Best used in mill decks, but yeah. What's really sad though is they are already taking damage from the Abyss itself...not including the Sheoldred/Underworld Dreams triggered damage. Honestly just casting that ONCE while either Sheoldred OR Underworld Dreams is in play is enough to kill them unless they are running a life gain deck but even then, they lose so much that they most likely won't recover before they die from further card draws later
Forced Fruition is one of my favorite cards of all time. Please try to make more brews with it. Love your content man, you are the one who got me into Modern and Standard way back in the day
I am a Green, Red and White player but this deck is so much fun that I begin grow interes in blue and black cards. Thank you, Seth for the tip! Your videos are so much clear and funn to watch. Hope I will be a new member of your channel. Cheers from Brazil!!!!!!
But at that point you may as well just be using Peer Into The Abyss instead. You can even go monoblack for Nykthos. Don't get me wrong; I'm pretty confident Peer Into The Abyss is superior to Forced Fruition for this particular strategy, but Seth is trying to "make decks from all the Enchanted Tales cards"; including Peer Into The Abyss when you've basically knocked off the Peer Into The Abyss deck would be a little cheeky.
Match 2: I made a similar deck *wayyyyyy* back in the day using infestation and victimize. My targets were way more tame in things like pit spawn and Kuro. I'd love to see some AtO version where you run throne+victimize+anything else and reanimate some super broken cards.
I played against a deck like this except they had the black Planeswalker card that does 2 damage to me when I draw. One other thing I was to see happen more is "basilisk collar" on "bow master." Great way to kill creatures when they draw more.
I get trying to 'break' all of the Enchanted Tales cards, but is it really breaking it if it's just an arguably worse Peer Into The Abyss shell (worse for splashing blue when Peer doesn't require a splash, and also enables Nykthos ramp if you go monoblack instead)? Sorry, probably seems nitpicky. You did what you had to do - just feels like I'm watching Peer Into The Abyss with extra steps (lands and non-Nykthos ramp). Edit: actually watching the video and the monowhite game is exactly why Peer is better. When you're behind on board, Forced Fruition doesn't do anything to win you the game, and your opponent can just ignore it and keep beating. Peer, however, almost certainly wins you the game in that spot.
I was going to reply the same thing. I think this video had an interesting concept however, the more straight forward option is a mono black ramp/Peer into the Abyss deck.
I think you both missed the point. The entire point of the deck is to have your opponents make themselves lose. Literally everyone and their mothers know about the Peer combo. So many people that play Arena have zero skill and just play the same exact copy and pasted "ackshually this is most optimal" decks. Zero skill, zero creativity. It's a damn shame
@@MongoTheMagnificent666 Explain, oh creative one, how this is so vastly different from peer combo? Because you're using an enchantment that triggers their kill-themselves card draw, as opposed to playing a spell that has it as an effect? Seems like the same combo with a small extra step.
I'd honestly suggest the Peer Into The Abyss build - cuts out blue mana entirely, and you can even go monoblack and use Nykthos to ramp instead. IMO the only reason to use Forced Fruition here is to fulfil the criteria of making a deck that uses each Enchanted Tales card (which is what Seth's been trying to do), rather than because it's the best choice. Beyond color and Nykthos ramp, Peer Into The Abyss usually only needs one on-draw card for lethal, whereas Fruition is going to require 2-3 or your opponent for it to win off a single spell cast (plus it does nothing if your opponent can somehow stay in the game without casting spells, whereas Abyss will win the game then and there if they can't deal with it).
Reducing their max hand size to 0 is BRUTAL. Especially when paired with Liliana's Caress where they lose 2 life for every card discarded. Taking damage on the draw and when discarding is so EVIL lmfao. Regarding the massive amount of clicks for triggers, you can turn on the auto accept for trigger popups to avoid that tedium
I've been playing a similar deck with a few Smothering Tithes and Induced Amnesia for fun. Not only does the opponent trigger their own death, maybe they can pay for part of it too. It amazes me how many times the opponent has had the cards on the table to beat me but needed to play that one more card to really pound me into the ground... and they end up losing for it.
This is the kind of Magic I live for :D Funnily enough, just before watching this I made a deck with the same core but Esper with Emergency Powers in the Historic No-Ban format :D Went great!
I wonder if you could make it where you try to win by decking them with Forced Fruition? No drain, just getting multiple copies of forced fruition to make them deck when casing 1 or 2 spells. Probably have some ramp and a good amount of removal/sweepers to get there?
So this is why I kept seeing the deck in no banlist historic. Lot of people learned today you don't need to cast spells with sneak attack on the board.

I’d cut the bowmasters all together in this. They still do virtually nothing. I’d probably also cut a copy of Forced Truition for 4 copies of some card draw.
Bowmasters aid with creature removal if you're already good on damage to the opponent through Sheoldred and Underworld Dreams since you get to choose the target to take that 1 damage per draw. I'd agree with you though on the other draw spells such as Braingeyser for example
Weirdly this is what I have thought about crater-hoof for ages, everyone always uses it to overrun with like 10 creatures, but you only need a few to win.
