The first time I saw this video I felt the dance to the roots of my heart. It moved me. Thank you for the brilliant performance. I will savor this moment.
Amazing dancer! You tap into emotion and life in a way that is mesmerizing. I rarely cry...makes me feel weak. But I could not help it watching you dance!
The connection Teddy makes is soo so so special....I havent seen another dance findt that connecvtion.....Teddy if u see this ......KEEP ON DANCING....
Teddy is amazing and talented. He is from my hometown, danced at the same studio I did as a kid, graduated high school with my brother, and was my sister's student dance teacher. It's a shame he wasn't a good match for the show, because I know so many people would have loved to see him compete and supported him. I'm sure he's doing well with his dancing and choreographing either way.
what amazes me about this performance is even though much of his movement is so wild, there is still such control. it isnt sloppy, he has so much power. love this
My son was bullied in school, this reminds me of him, and all the kids out there that are being tortured. Think before you hurt someone, whether it be mentally or physically, you will not win.
why do i watch this 5 times a day! i probably woulda never talked to this kid in highschool. And for that i regret alot about my younger days! INSPIRATION KID!!!
@XxRankThiefxX Teddy has an interesting style that is very unique and hard to understand. Through the sloppiness and chaotic nature of his movements, he reaches emotional and musical precision which is a brilliant irony. He is very honest and expressionist with his movements.
oh my god. there is hope for humanity. oh man that was ethereal....no I am not crying right now, i'm just ....chopping onions....lots and lots of onions...lots of onions...yeah.
chills, the entire time. i'd seen him in emily shock's videos before and i was so happy to see him on the show. it's too bad he didn't make top 20, but I'd say he has a job with Mia when he wants one :)
The amazing part is how CONTROLLED the wild movements are. As out of control as he is, he is in control of every single move and emotion in his movements...
@XxRankThiefxX As a member of the general public, a former farmer from the Midwest, I MUST say, "I get it." Huge, wild, massively precise brushstrokes stepping ALL OVER his canvas in every color and hue of the dark end of the pallet. How can you miss them?
It's a shame that your comment got down-voted into oblivion because people on the internet are more interested in either judging others or affirming their own points of view. They deny themselves the opportunity to engage with anyone other than themselves or--heaven forbid--have their minds broadened by someone else's perspective. Whether people agree or disagree with your comment, it is thoughtful and on point and I, for one, appreciated it.
@YaN8XiaojiE Teddy is also very good at hip-hop. There are several TH-cam videos of him performing that style. He is also very good at ballet, jazz and musical theater, and does some tap as well. Unfortunately, SYTYCD has chosen to represent him as someone with a very limited range; this is one of the main reasons why Teddy is not planning to return to the show.
I`m sorry but I think you got it wrong. A "performer" might care about straightening his feet or pointing his toes, because he "performs" for the audience. A dancer feels earth`s pulse in the soles of his bare feet. He makes people laugh or cry because he is pure, unadulterated unveiling of emotion. Perfect robotic geometry does not a dancer make. Feeling does. And no amount of physical perfection or carefully controlled timing will ever equal instinct and innate grace.
the problem with SYTYCD is that they only look for the all around dancer,.... so unless teddy is master of the other styles, he never gets the recognition....plus honestly, i love this style so much i don't want him to stop it!
I love Teddy. He really is something special. And I think that he could do so so so much better than sytycd. Yes, he had a bad attitude, but wouldn't you be pissed too? Like what more do the judges want!! I support him 100%
I remember seeing him last year and being so upset when he didn't pass the... What round was it? Hip-hop? Or ballroom? I can't remember. Anyway, I don't think anyone here can say that he is not one of the freaking cutesy people ever. I am friends with him on Facebook and he seems so great and so down to earth and I wish him great success! (: .
I keep coming back to this one. This performance is haunting and leaves me wanting to see the sequel to the story told. Brilliant!
Never have I seen a song interpreted to a dance like this, I was so blown away by this performance. Loved it so much.

@dreamk12 Thank you... very very very much... I wanted to know Its name!!! Greetings from Argentina... Cheers!!!
@ElysianxFields
yeah but obviously billy is more versatile because he can do other styles ... so depends on what your definition of "BETTER" is
What is a song of dancing?

please tell me the name of this song
I dont know, for me... the last movement in this dance means everything is over. fought and lost... great coreo
does anyone know the name of the song that he is performing too?
the problem with SYTYCD is that they only look for the all around dancer,.... so unless teddy is master of the other styles, he never gets the recognition....plus honestly, i love this style so much i don't want him to stop it!
you were my winner...
can someone pleas tell me what's the name of the song ??
