Visiting A Coffee Plantation In Mexico Deep In The Oaxacan Jungle

Caffeine is the most consumed drug in the world. So it's no surprise all us Basecampers are addicted coffee drinkers. But when's the last time you thought about the process of growing coffee, your morning dose of energy to kickstart your day? To find out, we went to work in a coffee plantation in Mexico and we learned all about coffee crops, coffee bean production and coffee agriculture.
After partaking in the life of a coffee producer, we bet you'll see your good ol' cup'a joe in a different way. To learn about it yourself, visit the Finca El Pacifico Coffee Plantation, located in the mountains of Oaxaca near Pluma Hidalgo, about a two hour drive from the Secrets Huatulco Resort and Spa where we stayed at.

I visited that 'same plantation' a few years ago ! We stayed at the Barcelo'.. going back again in Jan. 17'.. brought back some memories, Thanks ! I was expecting the 'Tiered Mountainside' of Coffee tree's.. not the 'Grown just in the Jungle ! Was a neat experience for a Canadian ! Thanks for sharing !
