- Mark SanAngelo grew up in the small town, Newark, New York, USA. His father was a skilled vocalist who adored the crooner style, but chose his family over that life. Mark's first concert was seeing 'Queen' and it wouldn't be many more years before he found himself presenting music on the radio at Butler University in Indianapolis in August 1983. Since that time, he has worked continuously in radio. He moved to Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan in 1994 and started his work at then 101FM Rocks as DJ and Promotions Director. In 2004, he was promoted to Operations Manager for Sovereign Communications and has held that position ever since. He now handles the On-Air Operations for 6 stations and does the music programming for all. He is also the current morning host at Oldies93 and midday host at Rock101. Mark is a veteran of the media industry and has a wealth of knowledge of music and the industry surrounding it.
