It's kind of eerie how Hugin and Munin form a double helix with their flight patterns in the briefing and replay...as if they've essentially become self-aware. Perhaps it's a precursor to Nemo, 20 years later?
Wait until the next Ace Combat is out, which takes place between 7 and 3. And to confirm whether the events of 3 were canon or not. But if there's another plot hole we'll just wait until Namco releases a real Ace Combat X (with the X being Roman for 10, not to be confused with Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception).
But if the next game becomes a flop both commercially and critically, we'll just hope for an Air Combat reboot where the events are made canon by rebooting the entire Strangereal timeline.

Since Mihaly got crippled, while Hermann and Roald's (Sol 4 and 5) whereabouts are unknown since Lost Kingdom, I actually feel bad for Seymour (Sol 3), being the last man standing in Sol Squadron... You can tell he looked up a lot to both Mihaly and Wit! :(
If you shot down the second target quickly, you can save Sol 2. But not sure if it’s the canonical ending
sadly it isn't canon, either way, wit's aircraft does not appear in the final formation at the end of the mission unlike seymour

So sad, nobody mention Cipher already. But it's okay, cause whenever they talked about him, they always had a slight smile on their faces.

After You shoot down either Munin or Hugin. You will have to destroy the other one with less than 10 seconds.

Dang, the ending will never cease to give me chills. The musical number combined with the game's awesome cutscenes makes it so that you will never not get chills from that ending.

That final phase was quite anticlimatic. AceCombatFan just turned right at the end of the tunnel and fired two missiles. Like, he defeated the final boss in seconds.
Luiz Alex Phoenix if you make the shots early enough then it’s quite easy. But if you don’t better know how to make some good turns
@@spartan2051 That's how I finished it 1st time, su-43 and QAAM. Later runs got trickier but still rather easy regardless of aircraft or weapons you went with. Imagine if it used his full maneuverability against you in such a tight airspace. It'd get impossible.
Hace you seen the turn rate on that drone? Makes WWII Japanese Zeros and British spitfires look like bricks with wings. Now imagine in that tight space. Would be nearly impossible to shoot down.
Do it on guns only you find out it's so much harder when you can't Just throw a QAAM At the start of the turn. Either have to hit them with a head on pass or you got to be really really good at getting the maneuver done in there You can post stall in there if the plane has the ability to do it but it's very risky

Fighting 2 UAV with their own mini UAV's are quite a drag.
But thank god their TLS couldn't rotate 90⁰ like ADFX-02 that Pixy used.

Never gonna happen. This game is underrated and every single people that i have met n everysingle friend that i had not a single one of them knows AC nor heard of AC. And thus, its very rare to see anyone talks about this game. If they make a film, atleast it must be very good to catch the other people attention otherwise the film would be dead and it would be a great loss.

That final briefing music gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. There's something about the bittersweetness of the melody that makes me feel like you're about to embark on a final mission that you're not even 100% sure you're going to make it back from.

This Ace Combat game was definitely one of the best. Although Ace Combat 4 might have something to say about that, it was a pleasure to experience Ace Combat 7. That aside, AC7 definitely beats AC4 in terms of content. However, that isn't the fault of AC4 as it was limited by the technology of the time. In fact, to me, AC4 has something that AC7 lacks: nostalgia. I will never forget the time I started AC4 and how entertaining it was growing up. If I had to describe AC7, it would be everything that Ace Combat 4, Unsung War, and Zero wanted to be, combining the story of UW and Zero with the fundamentals of SS to create a game that was the best of all of those worlds while improving on the mechanics. Music was top notch too. (got that from SS huh)
I would also like to mention that SU does something that all previous games failed to do,(with FoL being the closest) actually make the planes feel fast. In previous games I noticed that all planes struggled to break past 1000 speed in a short time. Meanwhile SU truly made planes fast which people including myself are happy about. You can truly see that the developers take pride in SU like they did in SS.
Finally, Ace Combat: Assault Horizon never existed. No sir.

For all those who don't know what happened to me after the war, I happily married Kei Nagase after we both resigned from the military. I fully supported her endeavors as her publicist when she became a writer and I became the flight control director for the International Space Elevator ISEV when we were approached by Former Osean President Vincent Harling for a deep space mission to the asteroid belt to destroy or change the course of an asteroid capable of dealing the same type of damage caused by the Ulysses 1994XF04 asteroid several years earlier. She decided to embark on that mission which would last up to 7 years and I decided to stay on Earth to make sure she made it home safe after her mission was completed. To the lone, reckless ace known as Trigger, you have my thanks for ending the Lighthouse War and securing the space elevator so my wife could have a safe landing home after that 7-year mission to the asteroid belt. You have earned your place as a true ace among us who have ended these foolish wars in years past. In regards to Former President Harling's death, it wasn't your fault. Stop blaming yourself for the sins you thought you committed. You are absolved from all of them.

The F22 could be better used if you shoot n dash. Especially for the drones as they have better manouverability. The F22 is faster. Close up and then hit them. Missile launches from distances only give them time to evade.
So basically the raptor is ideal for boom & zoom, a classic fighter tactic, neat

Just finished the game for the first time, it was one heck of a ride! Going through the windbreak at the end was actually the hardest thing for me in this game, I crashed so many times...
Since I've never played any of the previous games in the series, I have no idea who Nagase is, so I don't have any idea what happened at the end. (._.)
Cut short, shes the wingman of the mc back in Ace Combat 5.
from my *intense reading* of the fandom articles, if im getting it right, she was the wingman of the player in Ace Combat 5, and following the end of the conflict, is informed by a scientist that a large asteroid in deep space is on a collision course with earth, which threatens to repeat a previous tragedy, where a large asteroid (Ulysses 1994XF04) impacted earth, triggering a series of economic crises and ensuing wars that made up the gameplay of ace combat 4. Nagase and a few other people are sent on "Pilgrim 1" spacecraft into deep space to redirect or destroy this asteroid. They are launched from this exact space elevator, which they returned to seven years later, having accomplished their mission. So could be a very emotional scene for those who knew. I'm getting goosebumps myself just thinking of it, and I didn't even play ac5.
TLDR: Nagase, wingman of AC5's protag, sent on deep space mission to destroy a world-altering asteroid, launched from space elevator 7 years ago and are returning, signifying the success of their mission.

Count is better than he thinks - not many could've followed Trigger into that tunnel, let alone make it to the end. If the drone had not gotten that hit in, he would've made it out too. I'd say that, in terms of skill, Count is closer to Trigger than anyone else.

I was cursing the whole way through the tunnels & windbreak. I finally got it though. Ascending the windbreak was the worst part imo. The easiest way for me was to find the lit up path to it. Go to the far wall, slow down to med 300knots, then pull a high G turn. That perfectly lines you up to go straight up the windbreak.

The only thing that bugs me is that how on Earth can they put a Raptor onto the carrier and expect it can take off in around 300 meters without using the catapult or the EMALS? And if we chose the carrier based aircraft for this mission, it doesn't take off at the proper place either. Is there any logical explanation behind this?
That's why I think that F-22N Sea Raptor would be more suited to this mission. And after that, this aircraft carrier is of the Nimitz type, not Gerald R. Ford, so there is no EMALS catapult.
@@janusz4156 Yeah but F-22N never appeared in Ace Combat series. And it seems in Strangereal universe they have well-developed technology in utilizing electromagnetism to build weapons like Stonehenge and portable EMLs on aircraft. So god knows what they use for aircraft catapult.
@Justice Clark Thx for that info. Then it probably indicates that X-02S is not a carrier base aircraft. My conclusion is made based on that I used X-02S for this mission and it is supposed to also be carrier based.

But the F-22N Sea Raptor would be interesting.
@@l4z3rp0t4t0 Since the Ace Combat world is so advanced, they could build F-22 derivatives. FB-22 Strike Raptor was present in several games from the series and many players have a fondness for it. Especially that the action in AC7 is similar to ACX, and there was FB-22. F-22B is present in Vector Trhust, so why could not it be in AC7 and replace F-15E. And as for the F-22N, the models built in the Kerbal Space Program showed that the Sea Raptor would be better than the F-14 in many respects, and the radar operator and weapons would be replaced by avionics. And let's be honest, starting with "OFS Admiral Andersen" F-22N with tail code and side number "AD 101" would be an amazing sight.
This is some epic endgame, the ending and the foreshadowing of how scary it is if trigger somehow failed the mission, drones with the capability of the king of the sky will crowded the world, who knows, maybe strangereal will become the new terminator plot if trigger failed.
One more thing, why everygame i played with Ai as its main antagonist plot always have humming like "Lalalala" In their cutscene? Peace walker have the same thing too
If this mission failed. So we have Ace combat Terminator and skynet.. The next ace combat will be humanity fight againts machine. That is actually a good concept. It will be fun to dog fight with drones and robots

You can't kill it and if you run into the elevator's base first it will soft lock the game.

How long you can comfort to play with expert mode control ?
Expert mode is only mode. No seriously, if you want to have easier time playing along the line, get used to Expert controls. Novice or however they are called in AC7 limit your control possibilities.

For me it took the first 2 mission, which was like 5 minutes each
@@airbornefilip9139 Novice is good for the nuggets, like I was. Not all of us are used to the expert mode. However, after at most one run, nuggets should try to practice expert mode with free flight. After getting used to expert mode, that's when the fun begins.
FF: The F22 cannot be used for naval missions as it is an airforce craft. I think AC7 should have locked it when in Dark Blue.
Yes, well, this is in a world where the X-02S Wyvern exists, so a little suspension of disbelief wouldn't go amiss.

The jet is but an extension of the pilot's body, much like a car extends the driver's body (the driver can be one with a car with enough speed while the pilot can do the same with a plane).

Unpopular opinion: Mister X was harder than Hugin and Munin. They just felt cheap when they launch UAV Weapons. Mister X felt like a true 1v1 with an ace.
I also needed this video just to find the tunnel entrance. I just couldn't see it and kept crashing into the walls of the windbreak.
